RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Corporate Communications and Marketing (OCCM).
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy that aligns with the university's vision, values, and goals.
- Corporate Marketing: Oversee all corporate marketing activities to ensure a unified brand message in the conveyance of our corporate identity.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and measure marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, print, and events.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, prospective student needs, and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Content Creation: Oversee the creation of compelling and consistent content for brand marketing materials, including brochures, websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
- Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency and integrity across all university communications, both internal and external.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including admissions, student services, alumni relations, and academic departments, to align marketing efforts with university goals.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
- Merchandise Shop Management: Oversee the operation of the on-campus merchandise shop, developing strategies to enhance product offerings, increase sales, and generate revenue for the university.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in brand management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Regional experience would be an advantage.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content marketing.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think strategically and translate university objectives into impactful marketing initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
- Experience managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum impact.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience in managing retail or merchandise operations is a plus.
