As a Retail Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within our retail organization. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, developing different types of store investment models, preparing capex forecast reports, validating each new store's lease period financial forecast, and providing actionable insights to optimize store performance and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models for various store types to evaluate the performance and viability of retail operations in key SEA countries, and conduct investment viability analysis for various store types and formats
• New Store Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for new stores proposed by each country's real estate team, including modifying the financial models, align key assumptions with various stakeholders, and preparing investment parameters to support decision-making by senior management
• Financial Reporting: Work with Finance team closely to prepare regular investment reports and dashboards to track store performance against targets, highlighting key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Provide recommendations to optimize financial outcomes and achieve business objectives
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the annual budgeting process by coordinating the capex requirements with the new store expansion plan from each country
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including operations, marketing, HR, Supply Chain, Merchandising and esp the Finance team, to gather data, validate assumptions, and align financial goals with operational strategies. Act as a liaison between real estate and other departments to ensure financial considerations are integrated into decision-making processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field Advanced degrees or professional certifications such as CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) would be preferred
• Proven experience in financial analysis, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience in developing financial investment models is essential
