Roles & Responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Prepare ingredients & plating of food
- Ensure cleanliness of food preparation area & kitchen overal
- Perform basic food preparation skills (cutting, slicing, chopping, frying, washing & measuring of ingredients)
- Prepare simple dishes (baguettes / snacks)
- Plate up & garnish dishes
- Prepare sauces & toppings
- Carrying & washing of dishes (with aid of machines)
- Operate basic food preparation machines (with help of chef)
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Have prior f&b/kitchen experience (preferred), though on-job training is provided
- Able to communicate in English and/or (basis Chinese is also acceptable)
- Professional work attitude
- Attained a Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate (preferred), though will be sent for the course if not
- Have basic food preparation & handling skills (as stated in job description above)
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to multitask efficiently
- Willing to learn new skills
- Friendly & enthusiatic
- Willing & able to work on weekend, public holiday as per operational schedule
- Punctual and responsible
