Job Description
The Student Care Cook is an important role. This person will plan, source and come out with a nutritious menu for the centre. A balanced meal. This person needs to have creativity and skills to deliver vegan dishes separately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and purchase ingredients for the meals needed.
- Ensure all ingredients and food are stored properly.
- Record the quantity of ingredients ordered.
- Prepare the amount of food based on the number of students present.
- Prepare special dishes during school holidays and special occasions.
- Plan for Birthday activities.
Secondary Support Responsibilities
- Showering duties (Female only)
- Washing and Cleaning used utensils and cookery
- Ensure all Cooking areas and Surfaces are kept clean at all times
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Educational Qualification: Primary/Secondary School/GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level, Professional Certificate/NITEC
- Experience cooking meals daily for children in the student care centre.
- Strong passion and love of cooking.
- Food and Hygiene Certifications by SkillsFuture (Perferred)
Working Hours:
4 hours or 6 hours
