You will support the Chief Medical Informatics Officer in the development and implementation of clinical information systems and processes to facilitate the optimal delivery of patient care. You will also be involved in projects related to the clinical information systems and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication administration and documentation.

You will help to ensure that the policies and procedures related to our electronic medical records (EMR) system are updated and aligned with both cluster and national policy and guidelines. You will provide support for workgroups and committees at an institution or cluster-level as necessary.

In addition, you will assist to develop and maintain training materials and provide training for users in clinical IT systems.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee various clinic stations (reception, registration, billing).
2. Handle administrative tasks, including insurance claims, Medisave, and CHAS.
3. Perform clinic duties like temperature recording, disinfection, and wipe-down.
4. Manage inventory with the Clinic Manager, ensuring stock levels meet SOP standards.
5. Participate in stock-taking and manage any variances.
6. Assist nurses and doctors as needed.
7. Manage medical records, ensuring compliance with PDPA.

Requirements:

• NITEC in Nursing or Diploma equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred (GP, Polyclinic, Hospital)
• Enrolled nursing qualifications are preferred.
• Availability for a 5.5-day workweek, including occasional evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the accurate and timely abstraction and coding of diagnoses and procedures. You will also be involved in coding analysis, audits and reviews, as well as liaising with doctors and other healthcare professionals on coding matters. In addition, you will participate in continuing education and training for the new clinical coders.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Health Sciences or equivalent with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience
• Certificate in ICD-10-AM Coding or relevant medical coding experience in a Hospital setting

You are part of the Quality Management team specialised in managing the Laboratory Quality System. This includes working with the laboratory management and all lab sections on quality matters. You will assist the Quality Manager to manage document control, accreditation compliances, and submission of quality reports for accreditation and for hospital management. You will be involved in various audits as well as documentation of audit reports and follow-ups. Other duties include preparation for quality management reviews, external quality assurance reviews, customer service surveys, follow-up of risk management and root cause analysis. You are expected to work amicably with other departments in hospital improvement projects.
