We are seeking a Staff Nurse/Assistant Nurse with experience in outpatient Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist care. The job is based in a specialist clinic in Mt Elizabeth Novena Specialist Centre and/or Gleneagles Hospital, Camden Medical Centre and involves clinic work with some assistance provided to doctors on the wards.

There are four doctors in the group practice.

Working times are 0830-1730 Monday to Friday and 0830-1300 Saturday.

Staff is given one Saturday and one half-day morning off a month after confirmation.

The clinics are open 0900-1300 and 1400-1730 from Monday to Friday and 0900-1300 on Saturday.

Full-Time Junior Veterinary Nurse, Emergency and Critical Care (ECC)

(Day and Night shifts, Weekends and Public Holidays on a rotational roster)

Shifts are mostly 12 hours, allowing more days off per week.

Key duties

• Reviews patients periodically to assess their progress and to ensure that high quality care has been provided and to ascertain patients’ needs for additional care / services

Job Description:

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams (MDT) to implement patient care based on assessed needs and health conditions.
• Facilitate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring timely and appropriate discharge planning.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress according to the care plan and readiness for discharge.

Job Descriptions:

* Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.

* Prepare animals and equipment for surgery, including sterilizing instruments and ensuring proper aseptic techniques.
