Duties and Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Make frequent rounds and attend to residents’ needs. Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents and report residents’ needs to the nurse

The Salvation Army Children & Youth Group is looking for a highly motivated Associate Psychologist to be the professional lead for the establishment and development of youth mental health services for children and adolescents. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to conduct outreach, raise awareness on mental health resilience building, design, implement, and evaluate a range of psychological services aimed at supporting at-risk youth, particularly those with trauma histories, challenging behaviours, and emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Operations Managers in maintaining the operations system and processes of various services to effectively support the hospital in delivering its services. The services include but not limited to:

• Experience in developing and leading youth-focused mental health services with a passion for community outreach is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in a residential care setting is an advantage.

• Excellent organisational and project management skills with basic knowledge in statistics.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; additional local languages are an advantage.

Working Hours

Please be informed that it is a 5-day work week and the total work hours is 44 hours per week.

Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 6.30pm Friday (inclusive 1 hour lunch break)

Flexibility in working hours is required in this role.
