RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Worker is responsible for facilitating change and improving lives for individuals, families, community facing transitional challenges through the provision of casework and counselling.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct casework management, including gathering information, conducting psycho-social assessment, identifying common needs and goals for intervention
• Provide case work and counselling to persons with mental health conditions, dementia and their caregivers
• Plan, organise and implement community outreach activities, programmes and group work
• Perform evaluation and prepare reports for administrative investigation and intervention programmes
• Provide information and referral services to link clients to appropriate social services
• Participate in research

• Possess Degree in Social Work or Degree with a Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:

• Accredited as Registered Social Worker with Singapore Association of Social Workers would be an advantage
• Prior experience as a social worker would be an advantage

• Book appointments over the phone and serve walk-ins based on availability
• Maintain updated client records (e.g. contact details and treatments)
• Cross-sell therapies and beauty products, when relevant
• Consulting with clients to understand their beauty needs and preferences.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety protocols within the beauty industry.
• Keep track of levels of stock (e.g products, lotions, cleansers)
• Adhering to health and safety regulations while performing beauty treatments.
• Ability to stay calm and professional when dealing with difficult or demanding clients. Skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally.
• Ability to multitask, manage schedules, and oversee daily operations efficiently.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
