Job Description & Requirements
We are looking for a patient-oriented clinic assistant to join our Paddington Medical Team.
We are looking for an applicant who is willing to work during:
· Monday 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 8pm
· Tuesday 2pm to 5pm
· Wednesday 2pm to 8pm
· Thursday 2pm to 5pm
· Friday 2pm to 8pm
· Saturday 8.30am to 1pm
Past experience of working in a clinic is required because we require independent clinic assistants who can demonstrate strong work ethic and are able to competently handle their responsibilities of working in the healthcare industry.
Paddington Medical remunerates our team members according to level of experience and work ethic demonstrated. Although we are looking for a permanent team member, we will have a 3-month probation for all new team members during which the hourly rate will be $15 per hour
After the 3-month probation period, only with satisfactory work performance, team members will be offered a permanent position with appropriate remuneration and salary with benefits pegged to work performance.
Clinic assistant responsibilities include the following:
· Registering of patients under the right category of Private, CHAS or Medisave patients.
· Be friendly and patient with the patients, many of them being young children, parents of young children, and Mandarin Chinese speaking elderly. Be professional even in challenging situations.
· Assist the doctors in procedures like ECG, surgical procedures and health examination.
· Pack medications according to what was dispensed and explain to patients how to take their medications under supervision from the doctors.
· Collect payment and/or make claims for CHAS or Medisave patients.
· Ensure cleanliness of clinic at all times.
· Able to work independently and with initiative.
