Dental Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

The Dental Assistant will be responsible for general clinic administrative work and maintenance, as well as completing lab work under the direction of the dentist. The Community Nurse (Home Care) is responsible for planning; coordinating, directing and evaluating the patient care services and provides supervision serving as the vital link between the vision of CWA and a team of Community Caregivers (CCGs). It served as the unit-based delivery of effective, cost-efficient high quality patient care. It also includes providing quality care to clients under the Home Monitoring System.

The Community Nurse (Home Care) is also responsible for managing and assist in providing direct patient care through care management, assessment, providing home personal care services, nursing procedures and evaluation of nursing care to meet the needs of the seniors, including educating patients & families and caregiver training.

The Community Nurse (Home Care) needs to assist the Registered Nurse in the delivery of required and optimal level of healthcare services to clients at home.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Home Personal Care (HPC)

a) Patient Care

· Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patients’ needs

· Provide management, scheduling and supervision a team of Community Caregivers (CCGs) and in-house training of CCGs

The College Nurse will oversee the provision of a clinically effective and high quality nursing care and welfare service to students, and First Aid care to all members of the school community as required. The College Nurse will also oversee the provision of a holistic approach to the care of pupils, including health promotion, PSHE, and the assessment and treatment of illness and injury.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide triage and nursing care in one of the three College health centres on a walk-in basis, dealing with medical, physical and psychological needs of the students and wider college community;
• Provide First Aid, emergency care and treatment as required on a call out basis;
• Provide sport specific First Aid on site as required such as pitch side rugby cover and off site cross country First Aid cover;
