Job Responsibilities:

• Manage daily operational and project implementation matters.
• Ensure timely login of sales orders and processing for all sales.
• Handle sales login for Key Account customers, including issuance of Purchase Orders and Delivery Orders.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve leadtime issues of equipment and negotiate project prices and payment terms.
• Monitor project status, forecast project risks, and take preventive measures.
• Work closely with the Finance Team on invoicing status and cash flow projections.
• Ensure all suppliers' price books are updated and made available to the sales team.
• Ensure inventory is accounted for and kept to a minimum at all times.
• Record all maintenance contracts in systems and provide information to the Services Sales and Post Sales team.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient sales handover process between project and post-sales.

Job Requirements:

• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with order management/supply chain management in a project-based company.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including face-to-face, email, and phone-based communication.
• Good planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

1. General Ledger Management

• Execute month-end closing activities such as accounting period close/open and forex setup.
• Process journal entries in a timely manner.
• Calculate revenue accurately for various business segments.
• Verify intercompany transactions and ensure timely reporting.

2. Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly management reports, including trial balance, balance sheet, and profit and loss statements.
• Compile and analyze financial information, conducting variance analysis where necessary.
• Reconcile accounts and provide comprehensive explanations and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and regular forecast reports.

3. Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Initiatives

• Identify and communicate process shortcomings or accounting control weaknesses.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial operations workflows.
• Provide financial information and support to other departments as needed.

4. Local Statutory Reporting

• Support annual external audit processes.
• Assist with annual corporate tax filing and GST submissions.

5. Ad-Hoc Support

• Handle billing for specific business segments.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a Diploma/Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.
• 1-2 years of pertinent work experience in a comprehensive Accountant role within a demanding and high-volume setting.
• Preference given to candidates with experience in ERP systems.
• Knowledgeable about local tax and regulatory compliance.
• Possess a solid grasp of accounting and financial principles.
