Our client is one of Singapore’s leading A1 civil contracting firm which has a strong construction portfolio in large scale infrastructure projects. They are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Manager in overseeing all technical aspects of the large civil projects.

Job Description:

• Lead design team and review shop drawings such as foundation, geotechnical, structural, civil etc
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders
• Interprete architectural, civil, structural, and M&E drawing
• Ensure design deliverables – design submission and approval process, procurement, supply, construction, erection, installation, testing and commissioning issues
• Highlight project risks, design optimization and changes
• Provide practical construction solution
• Provide coordination with QPD/QPS and client regarding engineering proposal and submissions to carry out construction work for LTA projects
• Management and control design deliverables involving BIM, technical, contractual and cost issues
• Manage sub-contractor design team for designing clearance

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by PE Board Singapore
• Min 12 - 15 years of LTA large scale infrastructure project experience required (consultancy / contractor environment)
• Demonstrate strong technical skills and ability to lead a team

Responsibilities:

• Oversee forecast, pipeline, and baseline accuracy for revenue types across regions for MNC accounts.
• Lead weekly and regular customer conference calls and business reviews focusing on operational performance.
• Manage issue resolution with third-party vendors and serve as the escalation point for major customer issues.

• Act as a key member of the Regional Program Management Team, fostering cross-functional partnerships.
• Ensure customer KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met and drive regular improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and update regional SOPs and encourage best practices across teams.
• Lead and participate in customer-related activities across various functional areas, including sales, customer service, billing, and operations.
• Play a vital role in sourcing vendors and advising on cost reduction strategies while meeting customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role within the logistics or related industry.
• Proven background in Customer Relationship Management or operational roles.
• Strong decision-making capabilities and effective planning skills.
• Excellent customer relationship management and performance management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a strong team player approach
