Job Responsibilities:
1) Talent Management
· Review and update talent management framework for key management talents in the AP region
· Facilitate the annual talent review cycle through communication of key deliverables at regional level.
· Support group companies during talent review sessions, contributing to succession and development plans for key positions at both regional and country level.
· Conduct in-depth analysis on talent pools, identify potential issues, and propose countermeasures to accelerate talent development and deployment
· Collaborate with regional and country-level stakeholders to drive and implement Talent Actions/Outcomes from Talent Review meetings.
· Champion change initiatives, reinforcing communication channels and advocating for the development planning process
2) Talent Development (Annual)
· Review and enhance the development roadmap for leadership programs in the region
· Design and review the content with subject experts and stakeholders
· Coordinate and organize Leadership & Professional Development training initiatives in the Asia Pacific region
· Support global leadership program and ensure alignment
3) Performance Management
· Support countries’ HR in revamping, aligning and executing AP performance management tools and processes
· Review alignment of AP practices to HQ (ie. global competencies etc)
· Conduct research & improvements to strengthen AP policies and practices, leading training initiatives when needed
· Act as a super admin user on the E-Platform system to provide 1st level advisory on questions and issues
· Coordinate with vendors on the E-platform as necessary
4) Compensation & Benefits
· Conduct market analysis and periodic review at AP level to ensure the organization remains competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
· Research and propose initiatives to reward on performance etc
5) Talent Acquisition
· Conduct needs analysis at country level
· Work with country HR and HQ/HR to implement talent acquisition strategies in Japan universities
· Provide regional/local perspective on labor markets, recruiting channels, talent pools, and competitive landscape to the country HR
· Develop recruitment channels/networks in the region
6) Others
· Responsible for maintaining and updating of HR data in the region
· Prepare various reports for the region management
· Provide support to Head, Human Resources on various project preparation and implementation.
· Any other duties deemed necessary by management
Job Requirements
· Degree in any discipline
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience & above
· Hands on experiences in all areas relating payroll, benefits, policies, recruitment and selection; Talent Management & development.
· SAP/ success factor etc.(preferably)
· Experience working in a MNC (Multinational company) environment
· Resourceful, meticulous. agile learning, able to work with ambiguity and analytical individual with exemplary system thinking, planning
· and execution skills and able to handle multiple projects concurrently. Enjoy creating new initiative and put it into implementation.
· Good interpersonal skills, as well as excellent oral and written communication skill
· Able to make business trip to overseas
