As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology, Finance Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
• Designs, Develop and Implement the solution as per the Regulatory Requirements.
• Participates in the Requirements Gathering and work with the Cross-Functional Stakeholders to understand the requirements.
• Writes secure and high-quality code using the syntax of PL/SQL language with limited guidance.
• Ensures adherence to project timelines and quality standards on the deliverables.
• Supports and close the Audit findings on the Infrastructures of the Application to comply with organizational policy.
• Engages in the Technical Upgrade of the Application Hardware / Software Components.
• Provides Technical expertise and support the SIT / UAT Testing and Post-Production.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless delivery of the project.
• Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL Programing and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Hands-on Experience in Server / Database migration project.
• Hands-on Experience in writing complex SQL queries and Performance Tuning.
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages.
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Prefer to have exposure to Credit Risk / Market Risk / Operational Risk / Regulatory Reporting system.
• Exposure to Application Upgrade / Migration experience
• Good to have Python scripting experience.
