You will play a crucial role in coordinating medical simulation education at the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation (SIMS). In this position, you will collaborate with various departments to integrate different types of medical simulation into existing healthcare curricula, develop new courses and educational initiatives, and evaluate all simulation-related sessions and programmes.

You will provide administrative support for workshops, daily operations, and logistics. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will drive day-to-day operations which include managing Academic Medicine (AM) grants and programmes across the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). This involves working closely with key stakeholders including senior management, the research, education and innovation domain leaders, various Academic Clinical Programmes (ACP), Joint Institutes (JIs), SingHealth Duke-NUS Disease Centres (SDDCs) and the wider community of faculty, nursing, allied health professionals, researchers, students and administrators. You will coordinate the planning, preparation, review and approval of AM grant calls and philanthropy-funded proposals for review. To ensure strong financial stewardship and good corporate governance, you will need to be adept with the AMC's policies with regard to programme criteria, donations, disbursements and grant terms; and ensure rigorous and timely proposal review, monitoring of progress, outcomes reporting and proper stewardship of AM resources. In addition to these, you may also be involved in the activities of the larger SingHealth and Duke-NUS community and could be assigned duties including special project and assignments as a representative of the joint partnership to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

You will be responsible for planning and managing care integration initiatives driven by the SingHealth Regional Health System (RHS). You will provide and coordinate operational and administrative support to SingHealth RHS and its cluster stakeholders to ensure smooth and effective operations of the health promotion and disease prevention initiatives.

You will assist to provide analytics and data on RHS efforts to identify, plan and develop new population health projects and capitation initiatives. You will collate and track performance indicators of the care integration programmes and initiatives driven by the RHS.

You will liaise with RHS internal stakeholders, including clinical and operational departments from SingHealth institutions that are involved in population health projects and capitation initiatives driven by SingHealth RHS. You will cultivate and maintain strong networks with key community healthcare services and partners including Voluntary Welfare Organisations (VWOs), allied health and home nursing services, as well as other relevant social services and community-based organisations. You will also work with business units to understand data requirements and establish criteria to collect the relevant information for analysis and support data collection and reporting of key performance indicators for the RHS programmes, population health projects and capitation initiatives.

In addition, you will serve as a project facilitator for approved projects and support their development and implementation. You will apply appropriate problem solving tools and skills to help resolves issues and cross hurdles . You will provide administrative support, assist in the annual work plan exercise, plan and organise RHS retreats, events and provide secretarial support.

Job Description

As the Senior Manager, Office of Digital Empowerment, you will be responsible for the following:

• Create and manage clear roadmaps for strategic digital initiatives, set objectives, timelines, and success metrics, and ensuring alignment with the division’s digital strategy and SingHealth's overarching objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams through ideation, conceptualisation, planning, and execution of digital projects.
• Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement within the digital empowerment team.

You will be required to facilitate and support research activities, particularly in the area of research collaborations within the SingHealth Duke-NUS Academic Medical Centre (AMC). You will be involved in the review of contracts involving research projects and initiatives to develop the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC as a top-ranked one.

With the increasing setup of more research strategic programmes and/or research platforms at SingHealth HQ, you will be required to support their operations and facilitation of all the research agreements. The activities include but are not limited to budget development, stakeholder management, project funding submissions and post Award administration.

You will provide overall administrative and secretariat support for the existing 12 SingHealth Duke-NUS Joint Research Institutes (JRIs) within the SingHealth Duke-NUS AMC and any new JRI to the be established. You will support the Regional Health System (RHS) in managing clinical information systems that assist clinical care teams with decision-making and the management of patients. You will participate in activities required for the successful design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the population health systems such as the electronic medical records system (EMR) and Residents & Partners Relationship Management (RPRM). You will also work closely with the IT Project team and Synapxe to build and implement solutions that meet user requirements for clinical orders, medication, administration, and documentation.

In addition, you will help to develop business continuity practices and processes, across the entire SingHealth Regional Health System including downtime manual clinical operations for population health-related services across SingHealth. You will also coordinate operations on the ground during the period of system outages.

You will be involved in change management, where you will engage clinical care teams to improve awareness of health informatics amongst residents. You will work with the clinical care teams and RHS operations to gather user requirements and feedback, including incorporating best practices into decision support and to improve adoption of clinical IT systems. You will also participate in the development and maintenance of e-training materials for population health IT systems.

The Senior / Executive will be responsible for the daily operations of SingHealth’s research facilities and attend to daily queries from research staff. You will arrange the necessary logistics and processes for new investigators and departments moving into SingHealth Research Facilities and ensure the proper return of laboratory or office space when they vacate the premises.

You will assist in the preparation and renewal of licenses, sub-tenancy and service agreements. You will be responsible for the purchase of equipment and consumables, renewal of equipment service contracts and other services, as well as the processing of such invoices. You will also manage requests for card access to research facilities.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that the laboratories under the jurisdiction of the Office of Research are fully compliant with safety regulations and SOPs. You will need to maintain all laboratory-related licenses and permits as well as update chemical inventories in the laboratories. You will need to ensure that regular inspections of the laboratories are conducted and rectify any issues raised from the inspections.

• Degree, preferably in Biomedical Science or related discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience
