ARTDIS (Singapore) Ltd. (formerly known as Very Special Arts Singapore Ltd) is the leading charity for arts and disability in Singapore. Serving close to 450 beneficiaries/artists with disabilities in each year, we champion arts access and professional development for persons with disabilities. Founded in 1993, we promote visual, performing and literary arts, and have different developmental pathways such as foundational regular classes, progressing into industry mentorship programmes and showcase platforms.
Role Description
We are looking for a passionate part-time programme administrator/coordinator that is keen to work in and contribute to the field of Arts & Disability. This role will be responsible for handling all administrative aspects of developing and delivering visual programmes with our faculty of teaching artists.
The work is dynamic and multi-faceted covering planning to execution. It may also involve support involvement in in exhibitions, brand collaborations and community events.
As the centre is open through the weekends and evenings, the role requires you to work on 2 weekdays and 1 weekend (either Sat/Sun) within a 3 day work week.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting and participating in Group Consultations for potential new students
- Enrolment of art classes ( at Bedok and Bukit Merah centre)
- Preparation of teachers’ administrative matters (termly contract, teachers’ payment submission monthly)
- Purchase of art materials
- Arrangement of classes at external venues
- Coordinating termly assessment for Curriculum
- Other ad-hoc matters requiring assistance
