Role description
Working as part of a Category team that operates as part of an overall Global Technology Sourcing team. Making an ongoing, tangible contribution to cost efficiency and commercial/contractual risk management, through:

• Supporting the Global Sourcing Category Lead – Network and Infrastructure in developing the overall spend category strategy in partnership with key stakeholders and managing the effective delivery of that strategy

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operation of respective production requirements such as line productivity, efficiency quality yield and machine utilisation
• Maintain process control and carry out routine check verification and repair work
• Carry out periodic and preventive maintenance programs on both hardware and system software
• Maintain records of maintenance programs including plant equipment such as air compressor vacuum pump transformer and etc
• Assist Engineer in maintaining list of spare parts through timely reviewing to ensure minimum disruption to the production operation
• Ensure production operation meets the company’s quality policy and objectives and comply with customer requirements
• Assist Process Engineer in executing continuous improvement plan to attain cost reduction program for customer and to meet company’s goals
• Assist Production Supervisor in initiating action to prevent occurrence of product non-conformity
  Assist and execute the implementation of product non-conformity solution
• Raise safety awareness in assembly area
• Promote and cultivate good housekeeping behaviors in assembly area
• Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives

Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• No Experience required. Training provided
• Willing to work 12 hours rotating shift

As an IT Systems Specialist, you’ll ensure high system availability by applying expertise in virtualization, Linux, Windows OS, and hardware. You’ll analyze and resolve software, hardware, and network issues, configure and optimize OP5 monitoring tools, and maintain IT infrastructure. You’ll work closely with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to research solutions, propose improvements, and implement technical enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve issues in IT and control software of the Vanderlande baggage handling system, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Review system logs to analyze and trace application issues.
• Develop and maintain validation processes for customer-specific change logs.
• Work with XML structures for data processing, configuration, and integration.
• Analyze and troubleshoot Java logs to identify errors and performance issues.
• Configure and optimize OP5 monitoring tools to ensure IT infrastructure availability.
• Triage events, maintain incident reports, and plan preventive maintenance tasks.
• Act as primary contact for customers, offering technical solutions and minimizing downtime.
• Ensure 24/7 high availability of IT services through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance for applications and middleware like Oracle, WebLogic, and Java interfaces.

Qualification:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Networking, or related field.

· 5+ years in industrial systems, IT support, and troubleshooting.

· Skilled in XML for data processing, configuration, and integration.

· Proficient in Java log analysis and OP5 monitoring configuration.

· Expertise in Oracle Databases, SQL, PL/SQL, and middleware (Oracle, WebLogic).

· Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Linux administration, and VMware.

· Strong knowledge of network hardware, firewalls, and IT security software.

· Familiar with ITIL practices; strong English communication.

· Proactive, team-oriented, willing to work 24/7 as needed
