What is the role?

As the Technical Lead, you will act as the primary contact for the CEO and Product Managers in steering platform development. You will drive the creation of our core platform and improve engineering effectiveness and processes by scaling the platform across target businesses. Overseeing a team of 4-6 engineers, you will build a strong engineering culture driving fast product innovation. Guiding and designing technical architecture, you will manage sprints and releases for the team.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead Architecture and Design: Architect, design, and oversee the implementation of various components of the core platform, ensuring integration with technologies developed by our AI/ML team, APIs for Front-End App, leveraging Cloud, Cloud Native, Edge Computing, and AI/ML technologies.
• Metrics and Optimization: Define key performance metrics for the platform, establish processes for tracking these metrics, and continuously optimize platform performance.
• Engineering Processes: Implement and refine engineering processes, utilizing the most effective tools and methodologies to enhance development efficiency and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for contributing to engage the local ecosystem in the deployment of a Green Operations project.
• Training & Understanding of the baseline Green Operations solution being deployed in EU
• Work closely with the Business Development & Key Account teams during technical and strategic discussions with key stakeholders (Regional Airlines and ANSPs) to understand requirements & build clear problem statements.
• Coordinate with the Green Operations team in Toulouse to define this project & synchronize with the existing portfolio of Green Operations solutions.
• Develop a regional instance of the solution with both backend & frontend features specific to the requirements identified above.
• Perform data analysis, run simulations and the climate impact assessment (using and adapting existing dedicated tools) to derive key conclusions and measurable KPIs

Requirements:

• Min. 3 Years of relevant working experience
• Bachelors degree in either Electronics / Software or Aerospace Engineering
• Good knowledge / Background of Flight Operations
• Demonstrate the sensitivity to understand and define key customer requirements
• Experienced using Python language
• Possesses proven skills in data engineering and data visualization and using simulation tools
• Sense of responsibility and ability to do pro-active work
• Ability to support technical and operation discussions with external stakeholders

• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm

• Overall responsible for technical operations of the assigned oil tankers.
• Ensure that the vessels achieve the necessary technical standards and performance.
• Manage the vessels certificates and documents to ensure they are systematically updated and stored.
• Prepare and manage vessels’ technical budget and monitor dry-dockings and other required repairs and maintenance jobs.

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (COC Class 1/Class 2)
• At least 2 years of experience as Technical Superintendent for Oil tankers.
