Our Client is a statutory board under the Government of Singapore and they are looking for a Software Engineer specializing in devices. To work with the development team, you will be responsible for the design, development, documentation, testing and delivery of the software solution for an Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) system or a high volume and performance intensive back office of an AFC system

The activities required to be performed are as follows:

• Requirements gathering;
• Design, development, and maintenance of the software;
• Prepare and submit deliverables throughout the software development lifecycles such as Business Rules, Software Requirement Specifications, Software Architecture Document, Design Specification, Interface Specifications, Source Codes, Testing Specification, Operation and Maintenance Manual, Training Manual and others documents as required in the standard adopted.
• Assist with day-to-day application support issues; and
• Liaise with users on the requirement, design and testing issues.

• Recognised degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• Been through at least one full Software Development Lifecycle.
• Experience in writing Requirements Specification, Use Cases, Design Documentation, object-oriented software design and UML modelling.
• Good knowledge and experience in C++ on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Experience in multi-threading, socket programming and serial communication.
• Proficiency in AWS ECS and Docker containerization, with a solid understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in object-oriented software development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; and
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Software Design Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage a versatile team of SW Engineers in the design and development of real-time software and automation control systems for the Company’s full range of semiconductor equipment.
• Develop and implement software methodology, documentation/library system and tools to support software sustaining and new development projects

Role:

Project Engineer (M&E / Chiller System)

• Singapore Based (Woodlands Industrial Park / Site Office)
• 5.5 Days work per week (Mon to Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm & Sat 8:30sm to 12:30pm)
