Responsibilities:

In the wake of digitalization, changing markets, increasing crises and uncertainties, reliable and aggregated data in real time is crucial to a company's success. G+D has therefore established a globally active Business Intelligence Center (BIC) to proactively manage the ever-increasing demands on data analysis and reports.

For our Business Intelligence Center (BIC) department, we are looking for application support in SAP BW with a focus on Sales Reporting to start as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

• The contact person for our business units regarding business intelligence solutions and data analysis
• Advising the specialist departments on the definition and implementation of reporting requirements in the sales area (SAP SD & Salesforce)
• Sub-project management/project management
• Competent contact person for BI & Analytics topics, especially for SAP BW/4 Hana and hybrid modeling approaches
• Coordination and implementation of reporting requirements in the SAP BW backend (SAP BW 7.4 and BW/4 Hana)
• Creation of queries and dashboards (SAP Analytics Cloud, PowerBI)
• Collaboration on international roll-outs and system conversions (upgrades, patches, HANA migration)
• Creation of IT concepts and their implementation in the respective tool (mainly SAP BW)
• Ensuring ongoing operations in the area of SAP Business Intelligence

Your skills:

• Completed studies in computer science, economics or a comparable education or professional experience
• Several years of proven project experience in the area of SAP BW/4 Hana and hybrid data modeling
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical concepts and implement innovative SAP BI solutions from these
• Experience in sales reporting with SAP BI/BW, including understanding sales-relevant key figures, their calculation and translation into high-level reports with various requirement widths, as well as advising internal stakeholders on the technical optimization of the same
• Knowledge of ABAP OO, CDS Views, SQL Script is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud desirable
• Deep technical understanding and knowledge of ABAP, AMDP development
• Very good written and spoken English language

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in designing, testing and implementing .net applications

• Knowledge and strong hands on working experience in at least one of the following is a must: C#, ASP.NET.

• Candidates with interfaces with hardware and special devices such as scanners, readers, etc. will be advantageous.

• Good foundation in OO related concepts is required.

• Understands technical and functional design requirements

• Implement applications using Microsoft and development tools in N-Tier environment.

• Coordinate and conduct unit testing, System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test.

• Prior experience with semiconductor optical inspection equipment is advantageous.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as C++, C#, or Python is a positive.
• Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot electronics and PC hardware systems.
• Knowledge in statistical data analysis is a plus.s customer inquiries and concerns.
