Requirement:

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, engineering

• 4+ years of hands-on programming/application development experience in JAVA, Spring Boot, REST/API

• Experience in building cloud native applications, microservices and cloud platform (Openshift / Kubernetes)

• Proficiency in MySQL/MariaDB or other RDBMS databases

• Experience in Redis/MongoDB

• Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket

• Strong knowledge in automated build pipelines like Jenkins using Groovy

• Development experience under an agile development methodology and process

• Experience in Unix/Linux

• Good communications skills

• Proficiency in reading and writing technical requirements

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitoring assigned vessel’s technical operation and maintenance.
• Monitoring performance through monthly return reports/vessel inspections and maintain optimum maintenance levels.
• Monitoring and establishing reasons for excessive/unusual wear and tear and developing means to control/rectify same, through consultation with Technical Manager.
• Monitoring technical performance of vessels and monitoring consumption of spares/lub oils and bunkers to ensure these are not caused by poor condition of vessel.
• Monitoring survey cycles, statutory survey requirements and carrying out important surveys physically onboard.
• Planning regular and special surveys/repairs/dry docking in advance with max time and cost benefits for each vessel.
• Liasing with Marine Superintendent, Master or Chief Engineer on the vessel’s maintenance programme and on operational matters.
• Inspecting vessel’s under his charge, using a vessel inspection checklist as guidance.
• Providing detailed operating budgets for maintenance dry-docking and special survey Initiating follow-up action where possible, to contain costs, within budgeted parameters.
• Maintaining current data on costs obtained from various sources, in-cooperation with Procurement department.
• Controlling volume and preparing specifications for repairs given to outside workshops/repaires and organizing supplies of repair equipment.
• Providing feedback on purchases and encourage ship staff to tackle same onboard.
• Drawing timely attention of principals to areas where costs might be expected and which are additional to the budget.
• Advising the ships under control on budget as well as the actual cost for the technical items.
• Reducing costs by motivating the ship’s staff, improving cost awareness by regularly advising them on cost of stores and spares ordered.
• Maintaining validity of class, international, national, and specific certificates.
• Keeping up to date on requirements/changes in statutory/class rules/development and other regulations.
• Ship staff to be continuously updated/instructed/advised/follow up on implementation of same in co-ordination with Technical Manager and Marine department.
• Preparing monthly report on vessel’s budgeted and actual expenditure and submit/report to Technical Manager on time.
• Checking all bills for repairs/luboils/spares/stores and keeping verification of same through shipboard record of supplies/consumption.
• Ensuring that all forms are filled in correctly and filed onboard/sent to the office.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor′s Degree, Master′s Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Maritime Studies or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience onboard tanker, with experience as Chief Engineer

The day-to-day role of a technical writer includes the following responsibilities.

• Gathering and researching technical information from subject matter experts, relevant external sources, and internal contacts
• Organizing and structuring technical content for end-user consumption, ensuring clarity, easy reading, and accessibility for the target audience
• Writing and editing various types of technical documentation such as user manuals, user documentation, tutorials, user guides, specifications, and instruction manuals
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, software developers, product development teams, product designers, and other stakeholders, to gather necessary information and better understand complex information
• Reviewing and revising documentation for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines
• Incorporating visual aids, such as diagrams, screenshots, and illustrations, to enhance the understanding of technical information

What You Bring To The Role

• A Bachelor’s degree in technical writing, technical communications, computer science, information technology, or a related field is beneficial for a senior technical writer
• 5 years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in the 3 Years domain or industry
• Previous experience with Workday Finance implementations
• Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading product user and training documentation in English
• Strong knowledge of best technical writing practices, including style guides and industry standards, as well as the technical skills to understand the software development life cycle (SDLC) and project workflow
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and documentation tools such as Microsoft SharePoint, Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word as well as technical knowledge of to define structured content with predetermined tags
• Proficiency in using graphics editing software and screen capture tools for creating visuals and illustrations is preferred
• Proven writing experience with FAQs, user guides, or manuals in a technical field
• Work experience with version control systems, such as Git, for managing documentation reviews
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new software, technologies, and subject matters

Roles & Responsibility
Agile Release Train Leadership:
• Partner Product management and Release train engineer to lead the design and implementation of Agile Release Trains, providing guidance on the structure, processes, and ceremonies.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define strategic architectural runway, align the ART strategy and roadmap with organizational objectives.
Architectural Design:
• Work with the respective development teams within ART to design and maintain the overall architecture of the Agile Release Train, considering scalability, flexibility, and integration points.
• Provide technical leadership and expertise to ensure the architecture supports the Agile principles and practices.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
• Foster collaboration between development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of business value.
• Partner closely with cross teams within ART and beyond to build a simplified and yet connected system landscape which supports organization growth ambition.
Continuous Improvement:
• Implement and champion continuous improvement initiatives within the Agile Release Train, identifying areas for optimization and efficiency.
• Drive the adoption of Agile best practices and ensure teams are constantly learning and evolving.
Risk Management:
• Identify and mitigate risks related to the Agile Release Train, providing proactive solutions to potential challenges.
• Work closely with teams to address impediments and facilitate timely issue resolution.
Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and Agile methodologies to inform and enhance the organization's practices.
• Provide guidance to development teams on how we can design systems’ integration and cross share of data within and outside of China borders.

Requirement
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect embracing Agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and practical experience implementing them in large-scale organizations.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of SAP Deal to Settlement process
• Experienced Salesforce centric architectural design experience with Salesforce Lightnings and other Salesforce products
• Experienced with one or more integration tools, able to design integration scenarios or integration pattern
• Familiar with Document Management Solutions, Data Architecture Solution, AI/ML
• Having human centred design or design thinking experience will be a plus.
• Experienced working with teams of Architects especially Salesforce Solution/Technical Architects, Data and Integration Architect as well as Enterprise Architect
