Your day to day

People

Financial

• Record necessary and pertinent incident reports or information to police and fire agencies involving investigations and to Corporate Legal department, Corporate Claims Management department, insurance agencies and outside attorneys to assist in case evaluation, settlement or defense involving lawsuits against the Company

Guest Experience

• Respond in a courteous and prompt manner to all guest related incidents, questions, complaints and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
• Investigate loss and safety incidents involving guests, employees and/or hotel loss and safety exposure and comply with state and government regulations and hotel procedures to prevent/minimize the loss from theft and other safety risk or litigation against the hotel. • Provide legal support and advice for financings, private equity and venture capital investments in Singapore and overseas.
• Assist business units in mitigating legal risk, managing early stage disputes and developing proposals for resolution.
• Provide legal support and advice for operational matters, such as drafting/reviewing commercial contracts for purchase/supply of goods and services, providing legal advice for tenancy, customer, employment etc issues.
• Draft contract templates and plan legal training for business units.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law with at least 5 years’ PQE in private practice or as an in-house counsel.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
• Ability to provide pragmatic and strategic legal advice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provision of Security

• The primary role of a Security Officer is to protect life and property against pandemic crisis, theft, vandalism, misappropriation, fire, flood or similar disaster on assigned shift in compliance with government, corporate and management directives.
• Conducting routine patrols with his teams, looking out for suspicious persons, fires, mischiefs or safety hazards.
• Ensure the physical safety of the property by checking that all doors, windows, lights, equipment, locks and emergency equipment are locked to prevent any unlawful entry and responds to any distress calls and alarms.
• Ensure all the fire alarm and security systems, such as main fire alarm/ sub alarm panel, public address system, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and panic alarm, lightings are working properly and reports of any breakdown or defect of the systems to the management.
• To assist guests and associates for their requests for security assistance and to follow-up with the necessary
• To assist guests with luggage, if front office associate is not available.

Writing and Submitting Reports

• Conduct investigations of any incident from reports from subordinates and takes any follow up actions and submission of comprehensive reports to management of any findings.
• Conduct interviews and recording of reports
• Recordings people identity who visited the property, with the time they came in and when they left.

Maintaining Law and Order

• Conducting an investigation of any suspicious activities that take place within the premises.
• Reporting of any unlawful activities such as theft or mischief to law enforcement officers for further action. If he finds any trespassers or criminals during routine patrols, he detains them and calls the Singapore police force.

Supervisor, Security

You will assist the Residence Manager in overseeing the daily security operations in our Serviced Residence. You will also monitor the performance of the Security Team to enhance the security and surveillance of the building, ensuring that it adheres to the necessary regulations. You will report directly to the Residence Manager.

Responsibilities

You will:

• Assist to review standards according to operating procedures and provide support in preparing operational reports to the Management
• Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments
• Account for the security, safety and fire safety of the premise and all personnel and assets within
• Implement and administer security, safety, loss control, key control, fire safety procedures
• Evaluate and make recommendations to enhance security and fire safety procedures in the various departments
• Investigate and prepare incident reports on any occurrence or event associated with fire, damage, threats and disruption
• Gather information concerning the security and safety of the Service Residence
• Make recommendations with regards to security, safety, fire safety equipment and CCTV and the installation of such equipment
• Collaborate with the Human Resource Team to educate all employees on security and fire safety procedures
• To take on additional specific engineering duties such as:
• - Perform routine daily inspection for some M&E equipment.
• - Perform preventive maintenance works.
• - Perform checkout and arrival room inspection
• Perform related tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

You have:

• At least 3 years of relevant security related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
• Attained at least a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision or an equivalent qualification
• Completed the Fire Safety Management course by Fire Safety Managers’ Association (FSMAS)
• Possess a valid individual Security License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD)
• Knowledge in keycard system, Vingcard or Safflock and handling fire protection system
• Fluent in verbal and written English
