You will be an expert in the field of Cloud Security.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise in cloud security and be a trusted technical advisor and solve complex cloud security & compliance challenges.
• Design and develop cloud security architectures and solutions to meet and exceed their security requirements, through deep dive discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and hands on implementation in Cloud environment.

As a Cyber Security Researcher, you will be conducting research and development work to deliver comprehensive security assessment on cyber security technologies (e.g. network-based and host-based threat detection and protection systems).

Specifically, successful applicants will:

• Evaluate the effectiveness of cyber security products in protecting cyber assets (i.e. against their stated capabilities).
• Research, reverse engineer and analyze cyber security products for potential weaknesses and propose mitigation and remediation solutions.
• Create proof of concept code to demonstrate the identified security issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a computer science or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.

o Reverse engineering of software applications or systems.

o Understanding of Operating System Kernels.

• Proficient in some programming or scripting language, e.g. C /C++, x86/x64 assembly, Java, Ruby, or Python.

Role Overview

Security SME(Subject Matter Expert) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions to protect the company's information systems, networks, and data from potential threats and cyber-attacks.

The primary role is to provide expert guidance, support, and leadership in all matters related to security within an organization. This role will require strong analytical and collaboration skills, detailed working knowledge of current and emerging security technologies, as well as the ability to correlate events to identify abnormal behavior.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SME for security technologies, supporting high visibility needs of the business in a variety of special projects. These unique projects often involve expedited deliverables, operational agility, and require top quality deliverables covering both the consulting and operations functions.
• Investigate any security incidents and provide insights to internal/external business users.
• Develop processes and procedures and fine-tune alerts as part of ongoing improvisation of security operations.
