Account Technology Strategists inspire and ideate with customers the possibilities technology provides to them, drive thought leadership in digital transformation and build strategic partnerships with C- level technology and innovation executives.
As an Enterprise Account Technology Strategist - Public Sector, you will have the opportunity to design and drive leading edge technology initiatives in partnership with your customers, both supporting your customers’ desired business outcomes and achieving Microsoft’s business objectives.
Paired with an Enterprise Account Executive, leveraging your large, multi-functional v-team across the breadth of the Microsoft product portfolio and the vast catalog of Microsoft Partner offerings, you will build and grow your network of technology executives within your customers and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customers adopt and embrace AI technologies. With a proven history of innovating technical solutions to achieve customers’ business objectives and achieving account growth targets, this role will give you the opportunity to combine your technology and industry knowledge to deliver on AI solutions to accelerate your customers’ AI vision and to ultimately become their trusted technology advisor.

Responsibilities
The ATS is the leader responsible for designing the strategy and architecture to drive digitalization and innovation agenda of our public sector customers and acts as the Innovation and DT Thought Leader. With deep business understanding, broad technology skills and industry knowledge; ATS starts with Innovation/ DT agenda of our public sector customers, connects business/industry priorities to technology strategy and develops value propositions which align with our customer’s organizational business strategies, leveraging the rich portfolio of Microsoft and its partner ecosystem.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Digital Transformation & Innovation Strategy: Understand customer's business goals and the PS industry trends, Microsoft solution areas and partner solutions to build the 3 Horizon roadmap to enable customer’s DT/Innovation agenda. Expand Microsoft relationships with customers into DT partnerships
- Technology Thought Leadership: Reimagine the role of technology as a business and innovation partner to drive DT agenda of our public sector customers, help them understand the impact of emerging and strategic technologies and inspire & influence them for Microsoft technologies to become the main enabler of business innovation
- Industry & Business Architecture: Create long-term strategy which links business, technology, and industry needs of our public sector customers to enable their business and transformation strategy, based upon customer’s organization, business, technology and industry knowledge
- Technology Sales: Orchestrate technology sales activities to drive the digital transformation vision and roadmap of our PS customers with Microsoft technologies. Plan and orchestrate the solution proposal and coordinate technology sales teams to provide the right solution to the customer
- Account Leadership: Change Agent internally and externally to inspire and ideate about possibilities new technologies provide to drive business strategy and priorities of our customers. Own and Strengthen the relations with C-level technology, innovation executives and technology decision makers
- Applies expertise (deep expertise across few accounts or broad expertise across many accounts) and thought leadership to identify and inform the development of the right Industry Sales Kits and industry partners within the customer's vertical industry.
- Articulates and understands specific industry-related market trends, as well as customer threats, opportunities, and barriers to growth as they relate to the customer's broader industry.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, business consulting, practice building, or related technical/sales experience OR equivalent experience
- 6+ years experience in relevant customer industry
- 6+ years experience in digital transformation, or using technology to drive customer business outcomes
