Functional Analyst – Transaction Banking

• Should be seasoned functional analyst professionals with 8 - 10 years plus experience. it's critical that they have experience handling multiple initiatives concurrently and understanding.

• Employ tools and techniques to gather business and user requirements against project objectives. Analyse and assess the value of the requirements and, in this context, make proposals on future business processes and architecture;

• Assist with facilitation to identify and map needs;

• Employ a range of tools and techniques to map “As-Is” and “To-Be” business processes referencing current processes and potential or agreed target industry solutions;

• Experience of Lean Analysis on processes will be good.

• Evaluate requirements against the current state and target state and identify what is necessary to make the transition;

• Ensure that activities within the project are mapped to ensure that they are delivered effectively and work in partnership with technology teams to translate into technology solutions;

• Identify potential consequences of a change, estimate what needs to be modified to implement the change and scope changes within the overall project design;

• Ensure that business needs and solutions are delivered according to the level of quality set out in business specifications;

• Develop an auditable requirements traceability matrix ;

• Engage with strategy to ensure business functions, workflows and processes contribute to target operating model.

• Experience of Core Banking, cyber risk, AI OCR, CRM transformation will be great.

• Language proficiency - English/ Mandarin- speaking and writing (Candidate will be involved in regional project and will interact with Mandarin/English speaking stakeholders).

• Practical experience of estimating and detailed planning of analysis work streams & reporting against plan

• Experience of designing and working within clearly structured frameworks and approach to analysis

• Ability to complete User stories, Business Specifications, Use cases, Functional Specifications, Workflow Diagrams, Gap Analysis, Business Case, and ROI Analysis documents, as required

• Passion for analysis and awareness for best in class practices across the insurance industry

• Problem solver with a curious mindset

• Expertise in business analysis tools and techniques (Including Agile, Scrum, Kanban)

• Technical knowledge, understands architecture, development and systems

• Strong relationship builder and engaging facilitator skill set

• Confident stakeholder management skills

• Process and requirements engineer, resolver of ambiguity and conflicts

• Clear and concise communicator, understands and adapts to the audience

1. Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining scope, goals, timelines, and resources.
2. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive team dynamic.
3. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns.
4. Efficiently allocate and manage resources, including human and material resources, to optimize project outcomes.
5. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations.
6. Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and take corrective actions to stay within financial constraints.
7. Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to minimize negative impacts.
