Key Responsibilities:

• Support the team in applying City and Regional Planning practices in real-world projects.
• Apply urban planning and design techniques to create innovative solutions, with guidance from senior team members.
• Assist in master planning and urban design tasks, helping to develop engaging, visually compelling project graphics.
• Help develop solutions that address social, legal, and economic aspects of urban design.
• Participate in design reviews and collaborate with design teams on project schemes and proposals.
• Coordinate with team members to prepare, update, and manage project documentation.
• Assist with project coordination by communicating updates to clients and helping manage project scopes and timelines.
• Support in preparing project showcases and marketing materials to attract new clientele and seek approvals.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a degree program in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp, and PowerPoint to assist team leads with technical drawings and presentations.
• Ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating strong organizational and communication skills.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Planning, your responsibilities include, but not limited to, the following job scopes: -

• To apply and conform to standard practices for City and Regional Planning guidelines where necessary;
• To apply best in urban planning and design techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications on projects;
• Independently lead and guide junior team in delivering projects primarily involving master planning or urban design input in coordination with team leaders;
• Create innovative design solutions or task management in support of projects in urban design and planning concepts and translate them into clear and compelling graphic images;
• Develop solutions that effectively address the social, legal, and economic implications of the physical form; modify and/ or review drawings, construction documentation and detailing;
• Confer with design teams in reviews regarding design schemes, proposals and approvals;
• To coordinate and consult with federal, state and local regulatory agencies on scope and impact of project when necessary;
• To prepare, correct and update work documents;
• To manage scopes, schedules and budgets if necessary;
• To assume lead in Business Development in specific markets as maybe assigned;
• Provide assistance in reporting project activities and BD pursuits to senior management;
• At least 15-20% travel time is anticipated;
• Assist the team to handle day-to-day communications with Clients and manage Client expectations; and
• Assist in preparing project showcases and proposals as part of marketing and promotion efforts to attract clientele and seek approvals from authorities.

Job Requirement

• Master or Degree in related field with preference in Architecture or Urban Planning / Design
• More than 5 years working experience in related field and demonstrated ability to lead design teams
• Candidate with a flair for urban articulation will be preferred

Job Description:-

• Overall responsible for the planning and coordination of project development works from conceptualization, design, construction to completion within established budget, schedule and quality standards
• Co-ordinate and liaise with vendors, partners, support staff and/or the relevant government authorities to achieve project deliverables and for the successful accomplishment of the business goals
• Manage Services Rollout/Deployment – Using professional project management tools and processes as well as defined services rollout/deployment processes
• Engages and coordinates service provider groups and SMEs to plan, coordinate and implementations.
• Complies with project management quality standards for scope, schedule, resource, communication, risk and issue and quality management
• To oversee the implementation of the project quality plan
• Handle multiple projects and work within tight schedules
• To assist in the settlement of the project final accounts at the end of the contract
• Acts as single point of contact for agency customers for transition and transformation services
• Coordinates team resources, resolves conflicts, manages performance, and ensures propositions and plans successfully reflect contract parameters, company’s policy and capability

Job Requirements:

• A degree in Engineering or related;
• 5 years management experience of technical professionals or Project Management experience
• Possess excellent planning and organization, interpersonal and communication, and problem-solving skills
• A good track record in completed MEPCM projects preferable
• Ability to coordinate and lead matrixed and diverse teams & work independently with a high level of initiatives
• Strong professional communications
• Service Delivery Management experience is an added advantage plus
