Job Description

• Assist project manager in managing and monitoring the project progress to meet technical requirements and time schedule with high quality standard and cost effectiveness;
• Attend to daily tasks relating to project and customer's requirements and work closely with the Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production & Quality Departments;
• Manage sub-contractors and vendors on cost, quality and schedule issues;
• Prepare the project schedule and progress report and alert higher management on the project risk when occurred;
• Maintain the proper documentations follows Project Execution Plan throughout the project cycle.

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or equivalent
• Computer proficiency in MS Project / Excel and MS Word, Adobe Acrobat & AutoCad an added advantage.
• Experience in supervisory and management or projects, people, work processes oriented are preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide all administrative support to Project Lead
• Coordinate with purchasing for the invoices.
• Coordinate with other department on behalf of the project manager to provide any information required.
• Responsible for documentations and filling during initiation and transition phases of project and set up a proper filing system.
• Coordinate submission of documents to client and relevant authorities and maintaining document transmittals.
• Support in Project Weekly, Monthly meetings.
• Other Ad-hoc tasks as requested for Project Lead.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent educational status in any field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good command in English.
• A responsible, self-motivated, meticulous and resourceful team player with good organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast paced environment.
• Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and Project.
• Entry Levels are also welcome.

Project Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for P/L for project and timely project execution
• Conduct Project progress meetings & follow-up on timely action.
• Coordinate with the project executive all client "business" related contact/correspondence to ensure consistency of reporting throughout the project lifecycle
• Report to Management and make a dash board information at point in time
• Identify the potential concerns of the project well in advance and address them in an effective manner before it is raises.
• Ensure all costs and risk updates are communicated and incorporated into the overall project reporting.
• Initiate and implement best practices, procedures and standards
• Lead, direct, assist and support construction teams to ensure deliverable processes on time and within the budget.
• Involve in day-to-day activities with customer & Vendors.
• Identify, maintain & monitor the Risk register throughout the project.
• Hold review meeting with vendors & follow up on the appropriate action plan.
• Project close out and hold lesson learnt session.
• Support sales proposal to review costing sheet and optimise the cost as required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering preferably Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Control engineering or related industries.
• At least 5 years of proven project management experience in Oil & Gas / Marine industry.
• Ability to manage time and schedules to meet aggressive deadlines
• Able to work under pressure and tight timeline
• Be able to work at flexible after office hours due to project requirements
• Strong communication skills for contractor and customer management

KPI for Project Manager:

• Within agreed budget
• Commendation Letter
• Avoid delay more than 2 weeks (No LD)
• Ontime progress reporting
• LTI Zero (No Safety Issue)
• Resolution of Customer Complaints within 2 weeks (No Escalation)
