Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, monitoring, executing, resource management and budget management for IT applications projects in the Asia Pacific region. This role requires proactive engagement of internal and external stakeholders across multiple countries and the ability to manage more than one project concurrently.

Main Responsibilities

• Drive and lead applications projects
• Develop project plan to enable monitoring and tracking of project progress
• Manage project scope and schedule changes
• Coordinate the activities of the project team members to successfully execute projects on time and within budget
• Manage and motivate project delivery team, which may comprise internal and external resources and vendors, to ensure all parties are fully aligned and committed to project objectives
• Track issues and risks, and escalate and/or implement mitigation plans as appropriate to ensure projects are on track
• Proactive communications and reporting to stakeholders on project progress

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years managing medium to large applications projects in a matrix organisation
• Working experience of application development platforms such as Java, .Net, ReactJS, PowerApps, etc.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisation skills
• Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Strong business acumen
• Initial DevOps experience highly appreciated
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
• Experience in the shipping and logistics industry is preferred

Business Development Manager will play a critical role in helping us to grow "Digital IT services and technology talent management services" revenue from targeted industry sectors by new client acquisitions and thereafter, growing the client services portfolio.

• Take ownership and implement the agreed-upon strategy to boost Digital IT services and technology talent management service revenue, in line with the business potential of the targeted segments.
• Identify new opportunities through referrals, networking, social media, internet research, sales leads, direct contact, and involvement in the RFP/tendering process.
• Initiate connections with prospects and engage with key stakeholders.
• Prepare and submit proposals in response to RFPs/tenders, presenting information about our services.
• Employ business development strategies to secure new business and foster growth.
• Proactively forge new client partnerships within targeted accounts, including organizational chart development.
• Leverage strategic industry/market analysis, internal communication, external promotions, and thorough client analysis to uncover revenue opportunities.
• Create opportunities to present our value proposition to senior executives and management-level contacts.
• Regularly update and maintain client information in accordance with Sciente standards/process.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree or diploma in IT/Finance/Business coupled with a flair for sales and business development.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Sales/Business Development in new client acquisitions.
• At least 2 years of experience in IT services is needed.

What will you do?

• Accountable for managing moderate size and complexity project orders for RAC APAC Fast Track Solutions Team from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within the budget. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing of customer projects
• Confirm customer requirements, which include drawings, specifications, job site requirements, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions
• Manage the complete job process from order preparation, through manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support and financial reconciliation utilizing a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their uses
• Acting as SE's representative within the applicable contractual terms, this role is to direct, co-ordinate and supervise assigned projects with the Project Team

• 3 to 10 years of experience in Project Management in data center and/or utility industry (within the electrical distribution field)
