• Responsible in preparing documentation including daily report, monthly progress report, method of statement and work procedure to project manager.
• Responsible in overseeing drawing management and make sure the updated drawings to the clients and subcontractor are issued.
• Assist the project manager or senior project engineer in coordinate with related consultant and quantity surveyor on the change order issued
• Coordinate and work closely with safety personnel to ensure all government and safety regulation are complied.
• Conduct weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors to update the progress of work.

The Senior Planning Engineer (Civil) is responsible for the planning, scheduling, development of sub-programs/ tracking programs for construction operations.

Description

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Baseline programme/master programme preparation
• Tender programme preparation
• Recovery/catch up programme preparation
• 3 months look ahead programme preparation
• 4 weeks rolling programme preparation
• Monthly progress report preparation
• Weekly progress report preparation and presentation to internal teams and client
• Weekly site visit for actual progress/resources recording is compulsory
• Time impact analysis/programme risk analysis preparation
• Supporting to contract team for claim issues.
• CIP (Coordinated Installation Programme) Preparation
• Gathering project information and coordination within team.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in building / civil project (LTA experience required)

Technical Competencies

• Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural and Civil works
• Proficient in Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project
• Proficient with planning and scheduling techniques.
