PURPOSE OF THE JOB

Provide professional and prompt customer service through the creation of a rewarding end-to-end journey in different customer touchpoints. Support the IKEA for Business Sales Support Specialist in initiating business development activities, including establishing, verifying leads, and following up through multi-touchpoint initiatives to provide a base for sales activities. Manage and provide various sales support information to enable the selling team to engage and meet our customers’ needs in all touchpoints.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB

• Contact (via phone call and email), qualify and maintain all incoming inquiries via the designated IKEA for Business website before assigning the enquiries to the B2B operations team or other respective business units.

• Support the IKEA for Business Sales Support Specialist during face-to-face meetings with business clients in-store or on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate End-to-end Full cycle sales from Lead Generation, cold-calling, email outreach, Sales Discovery calls to Deal close
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services
• Serve as the primary contact for clients, handling their inquiries, requests, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Coordinate with internal teams to address client needs and resolve any issues or problems that may arise

• Has at least 1-3 years of proven experience in performing a similar role in Full Cycle Sales and handling Client Management
• Has prior experience handling remote full-cycle sales in a recruitment firm or agency
• Demonstrates Excellent Communication Skills and is highly articulate.
• Has prior B2B experience and a background in customer service, particularly with U.S. clients.
• Proficient in using tools such as HubSpot, dialers and Power Dialers (Twilio, Call Hippo), or similar platforms, as well as Google Workspace.
• Has a track record of taking ownership of tasks and asking questions when necessary.
• Experience working with a startup, with a strong inclination toward process improvement.
• Shows initiative and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
• Exhibits strong time-management skills, effectively handling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Must have a reliable work-from-home setup and a stable internet connection.

Our client, a company working in the cyber security industry, is looking for a Business Development/Channel Sales Manager to join their team in the Singapore office. As a BD/Channel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Business development, prospecting new sales in IAM solutions including 2FA Strong Authentication, Single Sign-On solutions and Mobile Application Shielding solutions, focusing in new market development i.e. FSI, Government and large enterprises both in Singapore and new focus country (etc. Indonesia).
• Develop, execute an effective customer / channel strategy through direct engagement and relationship to generate new account sales across territory. Adaptable to different selling scenarios to gain market share
• Take the lead with channel partners, system integrators in meeting end customers decision makers in qualifying opportunities i.e. get buy-in for propose solutions, coordinate sales proposal submission and managing end to end sales cycle until sales closure.
• Driving and managing sales leads generation activities to develop robust and sustainable sales pipelines meeting personal and team quotas assigned. Ability to work individually and as a team
• Coordinate support of pre-sales, implementation and service resources (both internal and external partners) for all aspects of sales and project delivery related activities as needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma required.
• At least 5 years’ IT software and/or services sales experience with a proven track record in direct enterprise sales/ channels (Enterprise security solutions preferred)
• Previous experience in enterprise security software solutions sales with specialization in IAM, 2FA Strong Authentication (etc. OKTA, One Soan, One Login) and Single Sign-On Solutions or others (eg. OKTA; Forgerock, IBM TAM), Mobile application security and cryptographic solutions will be a plus.
• Good track record in direct engagement with and managing end customers (good industry contacts) and channel partners in end to end solution selling and consulting services is preferred.
• Strong problem resolution with good relationship management, analytical and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with a can do attitude.
• Regional selling experience, prior experience in selling similar vendor solutions will be an added advantage

Reporting to the IKEA Business Operations Manager, you are to support sales maximisation in your business area by leveraging on existing IKEA product range and tools.

Your assignment

• Understand and address customer needs, creating detailed quotations, and providing guidance for informed purchasing decisions, especially in IKEA's furniture, kitchen, and home accessories range.
• Prompt response to inquiries, offering tailored solutions, and recommending supplementary items to enhance the customer buying process.
• Ensure pricing accuracy of Purchase Orders, coordinate bulk purchases, oversee stock levels and transfers for order consolidation, maintain financial transparency, and optimize cost-effectiveness through collaboration with Sales Supply and Support teams.
• Prevent possible shortages or delays by monitoring stock availability and picking status from the In-store Logistics team, while improving efficiency through the implementation of a multi-store fulfilment model.
• Efficiently coordinate deliveries to ensure timely and accurate arrival, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction.
• Manage order follow-ups, maintain financial records, and ensure successful transactions via customer communication and e-invoice submission after service.

• Support the Business Operations Manager in managing project-based orders and fulfilling assigned tasks.
