What you’ll achieve

This team is an In-house consulting and Business development team that helps the executive leadership of the Client Solutions Group define the near- and long-term strategy for Dell’s APJC PC and Global Display and Dock business. We are looking for a visionary thinker who will be responsible for:

• Working in teams to deliver projects using issue and data analysis, problem solving, and communication
• Creating/crafting/driving strategies for Dell's approach to target markets using qualitative and quantitative research
• Identifying new business and business model opportunities
• Conducting competitor assessments and evolution of profit pools
• Evaluating new product/market business opportunities
• Developing global partnerships and alliances
• Conducting strategic M&A target assessments
• Working cross-functionally with internal customers/colleagues including product, sales, messaging, technology, and research groups; and external partners including retailers, suppliers, and third-party providers

Essential Requirements

• Masters Degree with deep understanding of current technology trends and markets

Desirable Requirements

Business Support Executive with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) experience typically handles a range of administrative tasks and supports various functions within an organization using ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ERP System Management: Maintain and update ERP systems to ensure they meet the organization’s needs.
   Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ERP software.
   Customize ERP modules to align with business processes.
   
2. Inventory Management:
   Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure they are in line with company requirements and demand forecasts. Conduct regular stock audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies. Reconcile inventory records with physical stock counts.
   
3. Data Entry and Management: Enter and update data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
   Generate reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
   
4. Process Improvement:Identify areas for process improvement and work with teams to implement changes.
   Assist in the development and documentation of business processes and procedures.
   
5. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the ERP system supports their needs and integrates smoothly with other systems.
   Coordinate with IT and software vendors to address system-related issues.
   

Skills and Qualifications:

• ERP Knowledge: Familiarity with ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Technical Proficiency: Ability to navigate and troubleshoot ERP systems; understanding of database management and integration.
• Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify problems, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• Previous experience in administrative support or a similar role.
• Experience working with ERP systems in a professional setting.
• Knowledge of industry-specific practices can be advantageous, depending on the sector (e.g., manufacturing, retail, finance).

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of work experience, preferably in manufacturing / retail environment
• Mature, organized, meticulous, task-oriented, and able to handle tasks independently.
• Must be a team player.
• Good communications skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with suppliers from Mandarin speaking countries.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive manner.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Processing and Operations Office in their daily task of business processing function and process review;
• Assist in the issuance of contracts and endorsements as well as contract adjustments;
• Responsible for contract premiums computation as well as contract refund;
• Liaise with direct clients/intermediaries on contract benefits related queries via phone calls or email;
• Ensure the accuracy of records entries & proper documentation;
• Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead;
• Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
