Aramco Trading Singapore (ATS) is the largest subsidiary out of the kingdom and is actively trading within the region and globally across all products since 2018.
The Function:
The Risk Control function is globally headed in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The team is in charge of mitigating or reducing risks for the business, implementing measures to reduce the probability or impact of potential risks and working with management to strategize controls. The team includes various sub-functions like market risk, trade compliance, internal control, risk analytics, KYC and etc
Key Accountabilities:
The Business Excellence Specialistwill be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives, implementing best practices, and ensuring Business Excellence across various business functions. The Business Excellence Specialist will collaborate with different departments/Functions to identify improvement areas and optimize processes, develop strategies, and support projects to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
· Act as single point of contact for all the Business Excellence related support and assist all functions in implementing Aramco Trading Company’s Business Excellence (BE) program in line with Saudi Aramco corporate OE Policy, and meeting the BE objectives and expectations.
· Develop and implement Business Excellence frameworks, strategies, and initiatives to drive excellence & continuous improvement across the organization.
· To support in the Planning & Performance, defining the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Business Excellence efforts and regularly report progress to senior management.
· Identify opportunities to improve business processes, reduce waste, and eliminate non-value-added activities.
· Facilitate process improvement workshops and engage with employees at all levels to gather insights, identify pain points, and promote a culture of Business Excellence.
· Collaborate with departmental/Section leaders and stakeholders to develop action plans and drive process optimization, efficiency, and cost reduction efforts.
· Support cross-functional teams in the application of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies to solve complex issues and optimize business processes.
· Develop and conduct training programs to build a culture of continuous improvement and business excellence, including providing coaching and mentoring to employees and sharing on EFQM/Deming/Malcom Baldrige model of excellence
· Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging process improvement techniques, and technology advancements to drive excellence and increase operational efficiency.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented improvement initiatives with various functions, adjusting as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
· To Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvements /non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
· Provide guidance and support to improvement project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful completion.
Requirements:
· Proven experience (10+ years) in implementing Business /operational excellence initiatives, process improvement methodologies, and tools within complex organizations.
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
· Relevant experience (must have) with Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) or Certificate in Black Belt Lean Six Sigma or Certification in Business/Operational Excellence Models.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving measurable improvements in operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
· Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams at various levels within the organization.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
· Strong project management abilities to drive multiple initiatives simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results.
· Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis tools such as Visio, Minitab, or similar software.
