Job Description
Product Planning, Contracting & Portfolio Management
• Proactively plan, develop, own and manage tours through the product lifecycle while remaining in line with business time scales.
• Negotiate contract rates and terms: hotels, tour operators and special offers, while remaining in compliance with other relevant regulations

Manage and maintain tour operators’ relationships along with contract administration.
• Collaborate with Marketing department to define product marketing budget plan.
• Collaborate closely with the Marketing department for brochures and collateral production.
• Provide tour set-up for OB system.
• Write and maintain accuracy of appealing tour itinerary descriptions.

Pricing & Business Performance Management
• Manage tour pricing and set costs, by analyzing performance, market influences and budget requirements; define assumptions and propose selling prices.
• Closely monitor sales against budget and pace by using available data sources and reports
• Manage planned promotions, discounts and tactical activities, by working closely with the Marketing department to drive sales with focus on achieving budgeted tour load factors.
• Manage tour capacity and inventory.
• Continuously develop recommendations and implement initiatives that improve product profit and loss.

Quality Assurance & Product Expertise
• Collaborate with Tour Operations department to define operational delivery standards.
• Assist with vendor performance management, as needed.
• Provide training for counter staff on tour products and destinations.

Requirement:
• Singaporean or PR only.
• Minimum 2 years in travel industry; experience with product management, contracting and pricing.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in travel industry
• Familiar with GDS knowledge, Sabre reservation system, and OB reservation system.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for trade shows, product contracting, planning and destination familiarization.

6. Minimum 2 years managerial experience in production planning capacity preferred.

7. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in engineering/manufacturing management or equivalent.

8. Able to liaise with Chinese & English speaking associates.

9. Good communication, interpersonal and people management skills

Job Summary

We are looking for an Operations Manager to coordinate and oversee our organization’s high-tech automation operations.

The specific duties of an Operations Manager include formulating strategy, improving performance, procuring material and resources and securing compliance. You should be ready to mentor your team members and implement best practices across all levels. Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth running of daily production & delivery activities (standard practices established. Some documentation completed).
2. Monitor teams & workers' performances. Deploy manpower effectively. Work with HR to keep tapping on manpower availability.
3. Source & procure materials, consumables & tools, related to production & delivery.
4. Coordinate with Stakeholders (such like Maintenance, Sales & HR) for respective activities.
5. Ensure teams are adhering to housekeeping, safety & ISO guidelines. Be company's representative for safety & ISO audits.
6. Periodically, compile & present on resources deployed & production output achieved. Resources such man-hours, material costs, energy costs, etc. Production output such as quantity, quality, on time delivery, etc.
7. Manage budgets and forecasts
8. Participate in brainstorming & implementation of productivity, energy usage, safety, compliance & other improvement initiatives.

Requirements and skills
