Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the PHA process, including training and scheduling facilitators, planning and conducting PHAs, performing Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and assessing the need for Critical Safety Systems (SIS/SIL). Ensure timely completion of PHA actions by tracking and following up on action items
• Supervise the Management of Change (MOC) process, facilitating reviews and PHA sessions, participating in Design Safety Reviews and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), governing the deferral process, and implementing continuous improvements.
• Share Process Safety Management (PSM) best practices across sites and serve on the global Process Safety Council. Provide PSM expertise following recognized engineering standards such as NFPA, ASME, API, and NEC.
• Work with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to provide coaching, training, and PSM support, ensuring alignment with corporate PSM programs. Integrate PSM into site work processes, maintain current PSM training, and participate in project reviews for safe design.
• Lead and participate in PSM audits to ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and SS651 Safety and Health Management System.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, applying learnings site-wide and globally. Ensure root cause analysis and corrective actions are implemented.
• Utilize PSM metrics to reduce risk, enhance compliance, and improve performance.
• Support other elements of OSHA's process safety management, including process safety information, permit-to-work, and emergency planning and response.
• Any ad-hoc duty as given

Requirement

• Min Degree in Chemical Manufacturing
• Min 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience in PSM and RMP best practices
• Knowledge in Generally Accepted Good Engineering Practices
