Responsibilities:
• Understand the needs of corporate clients on payments and collections products and develop corporate products and services accoridng to the clients' needs.
• Drive adoption and utilization of products such as FAST, eGIRO, MEPS, PayNow, remittances, Virtual Accounts, online banking and facilitate the migration of customers from manual to digital channels.
• Develop pricing strategies for payments and collections products, considering market dynamics, customer value, and competitive positioning.
• Assist in developing marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive adoption and usage of payments and collections products.
• Work with Cash Management Sales and Relationship Managers on sales pitches, Request For Proposals (RFP), through providing timely advisory, solutioning and implementation.
• Liaise with BOC Head Office on the management of end-to-end development and roll-out of new or enhanced payments and collections product capabilities.
• Participate UAT for products related to payments and collections.
• Maintain and update product roadmap, with inputs from delivery, project teams, and IT.
• Work with various internal functional teams such as Business Units, IT, Legal & Compliance and Operation to effectively plan and execute product development and implementation.
• Attend to day-to-day product related matters such as reporting, training, legal documentation, client service support, product review, risk assessments, operational issues and audit, etc.
• Establish and execute key internal policies and operating procedures for payments and collections products. Ensure that all payments and collections products comply with relevant banking regulations, data security, and privacy requirements.
• Identify and streamline implementation processes to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for new innovative solutions through clear understanding of competitive landscape, emerging technological trends and needs of customers.
Requirements:
• A recognized University Degree or professional qualifications.
• At least 5 years experience in Payments, Collections or Channels management in financial institutions.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, technologies, and emerging trends in the payments industry.
• Familiarity with various payment methods, including mobile payments, online banking, and digital wallets.
• Knowledge of relvant regulatory requirements and compliance related to payments and collections services.
• Possess strong data analytical skills and project management skills.
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese so as to communicate effectively with our China counterpart and Chinese-speaking customers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to manage various stakeholders.
• Knowledge in APIs, payment integrations, and product manageent will be a plus.
• Positive Attitude, resourceful, independent individual with the ability to multi-task.
• Strong sense of responsibility/ ownership and effective in execution.
