• Provide appropriate training, as well as maintain and evaluate training records of production personnel

• Ensure product quality and production efficiency by the close monitoring of production processes and implementing appropriate corrective actions

• Initiate the appropriate reaction plan for unstable or non-capable characteristics, and record specific action in the appropriate form.

• Organize to meet customers deadline with process engineers and technicians

• Initiate corrective actions and follow-up until resolved.

• Stop production when product quality does not conform to specifications

• Discipline and counsel subordinates

• Make further improvement of the machine parameter setting and advice on the amendment of Operation Instructions (OI)

• Support additional production related projects or task as required by the management

• Monitor daily production output and ensure to meet the delivery target

Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing or related fields

• 2 to 4 years of experience in production process (Plastics manufacturing/molding experiences advantageous)

• Independent and able to multi-task in fast paced environment

• Experience in operations management

• Experience in medical devices, cleanroom, GMP environment advantageous

• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs routine tasks relating to manufacture, assembly, repair or modifications of products.
• Performs hand soldering, manual assembly, setup and operation of semi-automatic and/or automated assembly equipment and tools.
• Perform inspection and minor repair of product
• You might have to use visual aids, wiring lists, verbal and written instructions and other documentation to perform assembly work.
• Inspects component parts prior to assembly and rejects defective parts.

Your Responsibilities: -

1. Oversee and manage the overall budget expenditure and headcount in the departments.
2. Responsible for the department’s workplace safety and health.
3. Lead and manage ECR reduction and closure.
4. Ensure the entire department follows the Company’s MS Control systems, policies, SOPs, and complies with all regulatory requirements.
5. Ensure that production is operating smoothly and efficiently.
6. Responsible for staff development and training to ensure optimal competency.

You will need: -

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
• 8 years of relevant experience in the chemical manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a similar role
• Experience in managing or participating in ISO certification processes
• Strong working knowledge in chemical plant management
