THE ROLE

Coordinate all activities relating to loading/discharge/vessel operation activities

Liaise with counterpart operators on cargo or vessel operational requirements as per transactions, including preparation of documentary instruction, timely and accurate nominations according to contract, the appointment of independent surveyors and ship/protective/shore agents, customs documentation

Main Responsibilities:

Contamination Control

• Contamination Control Lead for ASM1 Manufacturing

  • Lead contamination program and strategies in ASM1 manufacturing.

  • Represent ASM1 Manufacturing in the Contamination Control Network (CCN) and actively collaborate with the network

  • Responsible for metrics review and reporting pertaining to the contamination control program

  • Serve as subject matter expert during regulatory inspections for contamination control related topics

Position Summary:
Leads the Contract Manufacturing Department. Take-charge in strategic sourcing and development. Oversees end to end contract manufacturing collaborations (Delivery of strategic commitments - on quality, cost and all factors). Partnerships with stakeholders to escalate risks and run operations smoothly.

Key responsibilities:
Managing relationship with suppliers
Source, identify, evaluate and select the Contract manufacturers based on objectives
Contract negotiations
Production and capacity planning (Production schedules, S&OP) to meet delivery requirements.

Planning for provisions in CM capacity surge

Create stringent plan with QA to ensure safety & quality assurance
Implement KPIs and metric to assess the performances
Project management, - identify and escalate business critical risks
Participates in annual business planning process and budgets

Requirements:
Minimum Degree
Minimum 10 years of experience in MANUFACTURING (ops,planning, technology, quality) AND commercial/business.
Relevant experience in External/Contract manu, supply chain processes and quality management.

Relevant experience in capital equipment contract manufacturing, dealing with contract/project mgmt, operation/delivery.

Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously..
Open to travel overseas as needed

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Intermediate knowledge of NPME role. Independently develops, implements, and releases new product BOMs for complex modules and product structure. Works with key stakeholders to develop and implement new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Manages the development and validation of Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex modules.
• Performs 3D solid model virtual analysis process, including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU). Actively participates in design reviews, providing DFA, DFAe, DFTp, ITO, and operational efficiency improvement feedback to new product development team to drive cost, quality, and cycle time goals.
• Orchestrates change requests and executes change control processes including Non Standard Requests (NSRs), Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), Change Control Board (CCB), Supplier Problem Sheets (SPSs), Engineering Specification Waivers (ESWs).
• Documents product-related issues/enhancement opportunities and performs Root Cause Corrective Analysis (RCCA). Leads the disposition and resolution of issues requiring Long Term Corrective Action (LTCA) for project/program.
• Leads the managed build process for programs/projects.
• Provides technical support and training to Applied and contract manufacturing resources, including piece part suppliers related to new product introductions.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability.
• Ability to identify and solve manufacturing and production related problems effectively.
• Ability to exercise judgement based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
• Curiosity-driven learning and improvement with engineering skills.
• Willing to adapt to changes quickly in fast-paced environment, stay updated with work process.
• Familiarity with product assembly process, and bill of material.
• Experience in model based CAD software.
• Knowledge of product development and its lifecycle.
• Ability to manage projects, set deadlines and work within constraints to complete successfully.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as machining, molding, casting.
• Experience as design, or new product manufacturing or manufacturing engineer.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Teams.
• Proficiency in model based CAD software.

Education:

• BS in engineering, applied physics or other related field.
• 2 to 7 years of experience is desired.

• Responsible for hardware and software installation and maintenance.
• Assist in Microsoft Dynamic Navision ERP system and make Jet Reports.
• Develop and execute new EDI solutions and applications.
• Create and maintain EDI integration using XML.

Requirements:

• Diploma in IT or equivalent
• At least 3 years of hardware and software installation and maintenance experience and Navision Application support in Manufacturing function.
• Good knowledge of web development.
