Job Description
• Coordinate and supervise the daily production activities of assigned staff.
• Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed.
• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes.
• Monitor and document employee attendance and performance.
• Able to develop basic training materials & conduct training.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflows.
• Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner.
• Monitor consumable inventory levels, forecast & raise PR.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project team, quality control, warehouse and other staff.
• Able to go on-site for meetings, survey & lead on-site job (e.g. shipyard).
Qualifications
• Min. diploma in related field.
• Holds forklift licence.
• Holds class 3 or above driving licence.
• Holds SSSC (Shipyard Supervisors Safety Course).
Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Min. 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production processes and equipment.
• Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment.
• Preferably experience in Quality Management System (QMS) related to ISO9001 and/or API is advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Intermediate), Word and ERP systems.
• Hands-on & willing to learn new skills.
• Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good communication abilities.
• Experience in Semi-con, Electronics Contract Manufacturing and/or Oil & Gas Industry are welcome.
