• Reporting to General Manager and oversee the daily quality activities including involvement in new project development relating to technical and non-technical operations

• Establish quality strategies and policies; implement World-Class quality engineering and validation tools and systems.

• Manage Quality Assurance systems and activities in partnership with other key functional groups to ensure reproducible product quality and compliance.

• Oversee Quality System management, production & mold manufacturing quality controls and project qualification activities.

• Assign personnel to support Program Manager in executing project implementation.

• Appraise employees and provide direction for continuous growth each year for the development of significant technical expertise.

• Plan and execute quality control activities; organize QA staff according to work requirements, ensuring manufacturing effectiveness and efficiency.

• Support Business Development in the pursuit of new business opportunities.

• Ensure compliance to all applicable quality systems.

• Recruit, train, develop and lead staff to accomplish quality goals and adhere to quality policies.

• Plan and lead in company-wide training initiatives for quality system and QA activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ Degree in Quality Engineering or related fields.

• At least 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in quality management systems in a manufacturing environment. Understands audit procedure, process controls and ISO certification procedure. Experiences in plastics/mold making industry advantageous

• Knowledge and experience in GD&T, SQC tool and ISO 9001, ISO 14000 & ISO 13485 QMS

Main Purpose of Job

• The Regional Finance Manager will be primarily responsible to oversee and manage the full spectrum of finance, accounting, tax and planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Be a business partner to subsidiary business leaders, finance and accounting members. To engage in every aspect of the business organization and offer insights and points of view beyond just Finance and Accounting.
• Examine, develop and implement strategic Finance and Accounting initiatives in accordance to finance group mid-term plan and transformation projects as a regional finance HQ function.

• Lead and review forecasting and budgetary planning and reporting.
• Manage year-end audit process, impairment assessment and attend to audit queries, for timely sign off of audited accounts.
• Develop and implement optimized tax strategies, provide insight on tax implication and tax risk area in supporting business initiatives. Manage accurate and timely taxes filing (corporate tax, GST, withholding tax, transfer pricing documentation, etc), and ensuring tax compliance.
• Oversee treasury activities such as cash funds, foreign exchange, debt and capital management, consider optimized options and funding sources for cost-effectiveness. Actively safeguard the company financial and perform risk management by analyzing the transactional activities.
• Recommend financial advice or analysis when making investments. The work may include designing investment framework, industry analysis, financial modeling and due diligence.
• Provide guidance and leadership in developing or enhancing accounting policies and internal controls, drive operational excellence and efficiency.

Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting or related field in Finance. CA is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting, including tax, with sound strategic planning and management experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in APAC with multinational organizations, particularly Japanese MNCs.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting, tax regulatory compliance in Singapore.
• Experience in acquisition, spin out, redeployment, merger.
• Strong people management skill / experience.
• Prior experience in Manufacturing or Machinery Industry will be an added advantage.
