Scope of Services

The Services required are set out as follows:

Multimedia Production

Our client, a well-established Japanese chemical manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Group HR Manager to lead and ensure the smooth operation of the HR & Admin team.

Salary: Basic up to $8k, with AWS & Bonus
Work Days: 5-day work week, office hours

Scopes:

• Budget and Policy Accountability: Responsible for budget recommendations and shaping HR policies to align with organizational goals.
• HR Program Management: Oversees various HR programs such as recruitment, training, compensation, benefits, and employee wellness to meet current and future workforce needs.
• Strategic HR Collaboration: Works with managers to develop localized HR strategies that align with the overall organizational strategy.
• Team Leadership and Compliance: Leads and develops HR teams to ensure effective strategy implementation, budget adherence, and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Recruitment, Payroll and Workforce Planning: Manages recruitment and payroll processes and oversees HR planning, control, and reporting to ensure correct payments and strategic workforce alignment.

Requirements:

• Min. 5 years experience, preferably in Manufacturing industry
• With experience dealing with Union is highly preferred
• Degree in HR/ Business field

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Define overall NPI program schedules, align on, and drive required execution plans and program deliverables to completion while meeting critical milestones throughout product life cycle including tool delivery in Global Operations
• Facilitate regular program meetings with the core team, and report out on program status, and identify any gaps to schedule or help needed
• Track progress to program objectives and timelines
• Develop metrics to measure NPI program performance and to drive improvement through successive product introductions
• Key stakeholder in corporate strategic product commercialization initiatives focusing on continuous process improvements

Education and Experience requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Material Science or related studies
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in program management or engineering project leadership of configurable products, from Semiconductor Capital equipment, from the conceptual stage through to high volume production
• Strong project management and analytical skills
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Proficient in SAP ERP system

- Perform routine cleaning, safety checks and ensure maintenance of machine

- Work closely with team members on yard site to perform tasks assigned

Job Description:

• Prepare workstations at the start of processing & clean and reinstate workstations after processing.
• Handle frozen/chilled fish/seafood processing by types of equipment with various components including processing (cutting, trimming, deboning & deskinning etc), packing (vacuum packing & strapping etc ) and storing of products.
• Cleaning and maintaining tools and equipment.
• Ensure that all food hygiene and safety standards are met and keep up to date with industry standards.
• Perform other food manufacturing duties assigned by the supervisor, as needed.

Requirement:

• Able to work in a cold environment, comfortable with repetitive work activities, working in accordance with schedules, operating machinery and working with cold materials.
• Training will be provided to applicants with little to no experience in operating processing types of equipment.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift heavy items.
• Responsible, punctual, good working attitude, good team player and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Applicants with WSQ certification in basic food hygiene, and familiar with food handling and handling process in fish have added advantages.
• Applicants must be willing to work OT duties, including weekends and public holidays, when required due to the nature of the job.
