Maintenance Technician (Electrical/PLC)

Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance on all the equipment in plant as per instruction manufactures manuals
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic faults
• Continual improve manufacturing process and equipment capability to achieve higher production yield and quality.
• Plan and organize preventive maintenance programme for manufacturing equipment
• Perform machine maintenance and repair

Requirements:

• Min ITE or NITEC in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical engineering
• Possess 2 year of working experience in manufacturing industry
• Knowledge type of water pumps, Programmable Logic Controller & Touch Panel
• Positive working attitude and able to work independently.

Our client is an US MNC, one of the largest players in the life-science sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting for Senior Lab Technician to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects.

This is a 1 Year contract (Convertible) role. They are located at Buona Vista – Walking distance from the MRT station.

5 days work week - Monday to Friday (8.30 am to 5.30pm)

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate high levels of customer focus and responsiveness through direct interaction with customers and their operational teams.
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop staff within a diverse team environment, including creating training plans for operational sustainability.
• Develop and maintain a quality management system to meet customer deliverables and team performance measures according to approved SOPs and organizational safety, quality, and security requirements.
• Lead and participate in initiatives to improve cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Take the lead in performing Flavors & Fragrances Laboratory Operations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Perfumery and Cosmetic Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role in a chemistry laboratory environment preferred.
• Knowledge of “good laboratory practices” and cGMP quality guidelines and regulations.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Mechanical experience with laboratory robots and good computational skills are desirable.
