Job Description

• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the machinists’ day-to-day activity to achieve production schedules & targets.
• Attend Pre-process discussion, which includes the tools and fixtures to be used for the jobs.
• Assist in production planning; control raw materials and daily process maintenance work.
• Work towards improving the process flow and quality yield.
• Provide good leadership with clear work direction to the production team and align the team to achieve business objective.
• Conduct training & coaching of machinist become multi-task roles.
• Advise Production Manager in assessment of his subordinates.
• Ensure quality products and on-time delivery to achieve company KPI.
• Ensure high quality and safety standards on the shop floor.
• Conduct troubleshooting and suggest corrective actions.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma qualifications in relevant fields
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in machine shop - CNC milling and turning knowledge in Oil and Gas industry is preferred
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing industry, Oil and Gas industrial experience is preferred
• Good interpersonal skills with positive attitude
• Able to communicate and work with a diverse workforce

What you will be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team and vendors in ensuring the highest standard of functioning, cleanliness, order and appearance of all swimming pools and landscaping;
• Involved in inspection and/or hands-on maintenance, repair of pool equipment and showing the proper ways of disinfection, dosing and water balancing in pool water treatment;
• Conduct regular assessment of horticulture maintenance e.g. proper pruning methods for shrubs and trees, condition of landscaping and planting works;
• Ensure proper barricading of the maintenance area and the safety of stakeholders are adhered to;
• Provide support for club events relating to housekeeping;
• Scheduling and keeping track of daily pool and landscape maintenance;
• Daily routine inspections to identify and detect defects and follow up with quick rectification;
• Monitor and maintain cleaning materials and ensure all inventories are adequately stored, recorded and properly maintained;
• To conduct weekly stock checks, plan and execute supply requisitions if necessary;
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.

What we are looking for

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Building or Facilities Management or Estate Management or equivalent;
• Certification in Swimming Pool, Horticulture Maintenance and Operation will be an added advantage;
• Minimum 2 years related working experience;
• Knowledge of repair, service & troubleshooting work of mechanical and electrical systems/equipment in the swimming pool mechanical plant room;
• Ability to communicate clearly and team player;
• Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
