Key Responsibilities:
• Assist and engage operations to carry out necessary recovery procedures and works with vendors to rectify the situation.
• Ensure calibration is carried out on schedule and within the validity period.
• Collate, review and sign monthly, pest control stations’ inspection checklist, and daily temperature recording checklist.
• React in a timely manner to any feedback on facility issues and reporting to the head of facility.
• Carry out regular building inspection with technician and raise works order for repair.
• Closely monitor and manage service levels of external vendors, such as pest control and cleaning
• Conduct regular meetings with vendor to improve services and close gaps.
• Understand and implement mapping and validation of warehouses, Cold-rooms, and freezers.
• Understand and implement security access to new staff per requirements
• Understand storage types and controls in place for spills
• Develop programs and organize trainings to promote workplace safety & health awareness & Security controls with the organization
• Have knowledge of various BMS and AutoCad software usage.
• Assist Facility Manager in audit preparations and attend to audits on facility matters.
• To maintain proper recording, documentation and filing practices in place
• Work closely with the WSH committee members to review critical safety inspection finding and/or other safety and health issues raised by the management, employees, internal and external auditors, and authorities; and work out relevant action plans to close safety gaps identified.
• Conduct investigations for incidents and accidents, interviewing the staff concerned to evaluate the causes and to provide recommendations to prevent recurrence of similar incidents and accidents; Provide monthly update on the following to management representatives
• Review and enhance Security & Safety measures to comply to local regulations and fulfilling ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 and TAPA requirements
• Perform risk management, assessing potential security risks and recommend control measures to eliminate and/or mitigate workplace incidents.
• Understand documentation requirements, ISO 9001
• Organize periodic and perform security meetings.
• Liaise with Landlord on security replated issues.
• Develop and work with HSSE Department in managing security measures and improvement procedures to meet TAPA FSR requirements.
• Assist operation on CCTV footage management as and when required for and by operations or management team.
• To guide and support facility technicians on their roles and responsibilities. Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• 5 years’ experience in facility management
• Good command of English language, efficient in using Microsoft office, and experience in establishing new Standard Operating Procedures and AutoCAD software knowledge.
• Ability to understand and read building and electrical drawings.
• Experience in handling External Audits.
