The Role:

• Perform sensory evaluation, chemical and microbiological analysis on raw materials and products.
• Perform routine environmental hygiene tests
• Understand sampling plan and methods of sampling and carry out raw materials and products sampling according to sampling plan.
• Preparation of laboratory culture media and reagents.
• Preparation of samples upon request by customers and/or external lab testing purpose.
• To tabulate and record all testing results and data into the provided inspection form and master list.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory and equipment.
• Carry out routine inventory checks on laboratory consumables, media and reagents.
• Inform HOD on lab inventory status to purchase necessary items and equipment for analysis.
• Report to HOD if any non-conformances found on raw materials and products.
• To keep retained raw material and product samples according to production date for future reference in case any quality dispute from customers.

• Install and maintain electrical components (switches, sensors, control panels).
• Install engine wiring and components (oil pumps, water pumps, cylinder heads).
• Assist with installing radiators, engines, alternators, and gearboxes.
• Perform engine timing and valve lash adjustments.
• Prepare generators for load tests and perform safety tests.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot engine issues.
• Perform general servicing on engines and alternators.
• Knowledge of hydraulic steering systems, marine gearboxes, and PLCs is a plus.
