What’s the role?

The Process Technician will be performing the following:

• Operating process units within the Production Area in accordance to Standard Operating Plan, Daily Operating Instructions and Standing Instructions and Site Health, Safety, Security, Environment procedures;
• Operating the plant within the Design-Operating-Window and the Integrity-Operating-Window;

What we need from you

To be a successful candidate, you will have:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical processing or oil refining / utilities e.g. steam boilers and Cogeneration for Process Units;
• Able to operate DCS independently;

· Lead PLC Programming of Turret control systems

· Actively drive the progress and quality for the Turret system commissioning activities for Electrical, Instrumentation and Hydraulic disciplines

· Follow-up design, construction and testing activities for the Electrical, Instrumentation and Hydraulic disciplines

· Responsible for design and Commissioning of the Electrical, Instrumentation and Hydraulic equipment in the Turret system

o Develop and contribute with input to philosophies and design specifications

o Ensure the design meets regulatory, class, client and corporate requirements.

o Perform pre- and detail engineering for Electrical, Instrumentation and Hydraulic systems

o Develop material take-off and have site control of the commissioning spares

o Turret system equipment meet EEHA inspection requirements.

· Coordinate, plan and execute Electrical, Instrumentation & Hydraulic system commissioning activities and ensure a logical sequence with timely execution.

· Review of relevant vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements as required

· Proactively support and cooperate with all commissioning disciplines in Barossa Project to meet project schedule and quality requirement.

UWCSEA Dover has a vacancy for an Art Technician from May 2024. Reporting to the Heads of Art, the successful incumbent will support the Art department and teachers with inventory and the creation and delivery of curriculum needs and materials.

Main Responsibilities

• Preparation of materials and provide classroom support for Teachers (delivery of iPad trolley, inventory and restocking of classroom supplies etc.).
• Assist in classroom routines and curriculum such as mounting/framing and hanging of artwork in the College, including annual Art exhibitions, GCSE exams, College displays etc.
• Conduct and maintain storeroom supply inventory.
• Assist students with technical constructions (i.e. general wood cutting).
• Work with a variety of common workshop tools and maintain the inventory, operation and proper storage of art tools (i.e. ceramics kiln, 3d printer, laser cutter etc. *Training for these tools can be provided.).
• Attend to any other duties as assigned.

Person Specifications

• Minimum Diploma in any related discipline with 2 years of experience.
• Relevant experience as a school art technician is desirable but will consider someone who has a good work history.
• Good initiative, self-management and communication skills.
• Ability to use basic woodcutting tools (i.e. cutting plywood down to standardised sizes)
• Knowledge of laser cutter, 3D printer, ceramics kiln is highly desirable, but some training can be provided.
• Ability to stretch canvas on frames.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Approachable, friendly, and willing to assist in problem-solving.
• Able to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks in the department.
• Physically fit to carry and handle artworks and materials (i.e. 10kg bags of clay).

General Job Description:

1) Attend all job descriptions requirements for the position of Cargo Technician;

6) Manage stocks of spare parts, consumables, tools, Marine Gas Oil (MGO Bunker according to the agreement with Client), lubricating oils and chemicals related to Marine Department by requesting the necessary materials for the department's activities in a timely and optimized way.

7) Contribute so that the vessel always holds valid Flag, Class and Port State certification by participating audits and inspections, supporting the Marine Superintendent and Cargo Supervisor in preparing the marine department and assisting to close out all non-conformities and observations.

8) Must have availability to go to Singapore to visit the shipyard;

9) Experience with Offshore is preferred;

10) Experience with FPSO is preferred;

11) Required availability to move to Brazil and work offshore for the FPSO operation;

12) Fluent Brazilian Portuguese speakers are mandatory.

13) Immediate availability preferred;

14) Knowledge on Brazilian legislation applicable to FPSO operation is required, including NR-10;

• Edger duties (Incoming/Final Quality check, Dotting of FSV lenses/Tracing/Blocking/Edging/Fitting)
