1. Carryout equipment commissioning, servicing, and repair of electro-hydraulic driven machinery locally as well as in the region.
2. GCE ‘N’ level, ITE in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering with 3 to 5 years’ experience working with electrical / electronic systems in port handling or similar equipment.
3. Possess Class 3 driving license.
4. The position is based in Singapore, overseas travel will be required.

JOB SCOPE

Carry out pre-delivery inspection, testing, installation & commissioning, repairs and servicing works for products handled by the company at company's premise or at customer's site. Carry out electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosing and repairs for all products handled by the company.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out pre-delivery inspecton, testing & commissioning, repairs and servicing works for products handled by the company at company's premise or at customer's site.
• Carry out electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosing and repairs for all products handled by the company.
• Complete service report including cause(s) of problems, details and detailed parts used for every job completed timely and submit daily with time sheet to the respective supervisor/service engineer.
• Complete daily time sheet and submit daily to the respective supervisor/service engineer.
• Perform installation of attachment according to job specification and installation instruction at customer sites in Singapore.
• Perform retrofitting and modification task and ensure the completed task is compliance with the drawing and instruction provided.
• To handle welding works.
• Handle material preparation for stock like shaft, mounting bracket, manifold block, fitting and hose guide etc.
• Any other duties as assigned by the service management.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform commissioning activities, such as Instrument functional tests, dynamic commissioning, completion of functional checks, and complete mark up on as-built drawings.

· Assist VENDOR’s Engineer in commissioning VENDOR’s packages.

· Carry out housekeeping and maintenance of tools and test equipment.

· Carry out the preservation of equipment.

Profile Requirements

· Qualification: Diploma in Engineering/ Singapore Technical Certificate/ National Trade Certificate/ Skill

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall coordination of all activities of the repair/new build projects to achieve timely completion, in line with occupational health and safety, environment, quality, productivity and commercial aspects.
• Effective delegation and control of resources for optimum productivity.
• Ensuring compliance with contracts, specifications, regulatory, company, quality, environment, occupational health and safety standards and procedures.
• Plan, implement, and demonstrate continual improvement in occupational health and safety, quality, environment and productivity.
• Liaison and coordination with regulatory bodies, clients, consultants, contractors, and internally within the company to satisfy their needs within commercial controls.
• Ensure company and project milestones, and commercial controls are achieved by effective planning, logistics, and execution.
• Comprehensive inputs to Planning department, not limited to equipment, materials, processes, activities, manpower, and ownership of project plan.
• Control and monitor techno-commercial progress in relation to base line plan.
• Identify bottlenecks, highlight possible delays in advance, propose and execute corrective and preventive actions.
• Control and monitoring of variation orders, and coordination with Commercial department.

Requirements

• Safety Instruction Course for Ship – Repair Managers
• Marine or Mechanical Engineer, Naval Architect, or relevant Shipyard experience.
• Knowledge of shipyard production trade activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office.
