Responsibilities

• Oversee building and data centre facilities; recording and reporting on the BMS / EMS / Fire D&P / Chiller / Electrical etc.
• Administrator for preventative maintenance programs to ensure that equipment are properly serviced & maintained.
• Maintain good documentation of facilities and / or equipment maintenance.
• Prepare monthly SLA reports for equipment uptime, power usage & temperature readings.
• Respond to emergency situation and be on 24x7 standby duty.
• Prepared to be on 24x7 standby recall to provide extra manpower coverage when necessary.
• Oversee new data centre projects as well as renovation and maintenance to existing space.
• Responsible to handle site inspections / audits by external authority (eg. HDB / LTA / NEA / FSB).
• Schedule and track servicing jobs and vendor management on a daily basis.
• Maintain high customer service level standards.
• Managed all facilities contracts.

Education & Certification Requirement

• Diploma/ Degree in Building/ Facility Management or any other related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant working experience

Skills & Experiences Requirement

• Must possess broad-based knowledge and skills in the areas of building technology, mechanical and electrical services and facilities management
• Must possess relevant experience in Data Centre facility management and vendor management
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Project management is preferred
• Good ability to multi-task and job tracking skill

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components.
2. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair. Identifies and corrects errors.
3. Observes all safety standards. Maintains a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept. Follows operating instructions, uses protective equipment when required, and uses equipment and materials properly. Actively strives to prevent accidents and injuries.
4. Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components. Enters data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details. May perform computer programming, repair or software
5. Details finished work. Receives parts and performs audits to ensure all necessary parts are available to perform built, test and repair. Inspects parts for defects. Troubleshoots and improves processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares wafers for experimentation to include cleaning. Loads wafers, prepares reactor for experimentation and cleans reactors.
• Prepares cross section samples for scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis.
• Operates reactor to perform thin film process, under supervision.
• Operate scanning electron microscope (SEM) for cross section and top view or critical dimension (CD) or energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) analysis / imaging pending on job assignment, identify some patterns of interest.
• Records process conditions and experimental observations.
• Understand basic scanning electron microscope (SEM) principle.
• Responsible for single technology products.
• Perform scanning electron microscope (SEM) system software alignment functions.
• Evaluates wafers and thin films.
• Perform routine maintenance procedures, flash, plasma clean etc.
• Operates knowledgeably laboratory process equipment and instrumentation.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Require to work on SAP and Procurement of wafers / non-standard parts and services
• Coordination of chemical transfer to and from partner lab
• To assist finance on tracking purchase orders, delivery order and invoices
• To work with supplier to ensure on time delivery of POs, DOs and invoices

Other Requirements: This position generally involves working in a clean room, it requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.

• Assess and negotiate incoming Maintenance & Repair estimates with the respective repair vendor/depot.
• Make sure the best possible Maintenance & Repair quality in a most cost effective manner.
• Verify incoming Equipment Check reports (ECR) for plausibility and correctness.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Industrial Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Strong technical knowledge in tank containers industry.
