2. Process improvements / Quality Control

• Actively participates in discussions with manager to improve and validate calibration methods / procedures with the objectives to improve accuracy and work efficiency for the department.
• For senior positions, work closely with Technical Manager, Assistant Technical Manager to identify the need to purchase equipment for improving Quality / efficiency / reducing operational costs.
• S/he is expected to participate in Internal Quality Control, Inter-laboratory Comparison and Proficiency testing Programmes.
• Maintain good safety and housekeeping

3. Team Management (for senior positions)

• Actively participates in team-bonding activities and to foster team-work / cooperation amongst team members.
• Gives immediate feedback to team members to ensure they adhere and conform to the Company’s Quality policy, regulations, Health and Safety standards and others.

Requirements:

• Demonstrates understanding of tools used for the calibration for at least 1 discipline (Mechanical, Dimensional, Electrical or Temperatures).
• Senior positions: Possess Diploma in Engineering (Electronics / Electrical) or any relevant Engineering/Technical areas.
• Junior positions: Minimum of O' Levels or equivalent
• Valid Class 3 Driving License
• Computer skills – Proficient of MS Word, Email and Excel and computer systems for capturing accurate data (calibration results, etc) and generating reports.
• Customer-Service oriented and understand the urgency or need to meet customer’s deadline.
• Efficient time management with initiative and wants to improve.
• Team-player.
• Physically fit and good dexterity especially with repeating calibration procedures.
• Direct calibration experience will be an advantage.

What Will You Do

• To perform testing, soldering, tuning and troubleshooting of PCBA or products.
• To troubleshoot PCBA and products and read schematic diagram.
• To produce output as per production target.
• To use simple equipment to troubleshoot multimeter and oscilloscope.

What Do We Want

Job Description

Identify raw material on packing and understand the importance of first-in-firstout in quality assurance.
Feed-in of raw material or recycle product by operating hoist safely.
Perform in-process quality checks by timely collection of the appropriate samples and checking using QC lab equipment.
Accurate data entry of all material movements / in process sample inspection results in hardcopy and digital production records.
Ensure Technician’s work completion in accordance with all requirements that quality and output is met.
Check and inspect production machinery or equipment.  Perform basic preventive maintenance and carry out basic repair timely.
Operate forklift to retrieve raw material and stack product from and into the warehouse floor respectively.
Ensure that all production activities are carried out in accordance with Work Instruction (WI).
Maintain good housekeeping of the production area.
Adhere to Safety procedure and regulations.  Awareness on product quality requirement
Awareness of company management systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 etc.
