The Role

Responsibilities:

Facilities Management

• Manage the overall operation, maintenance, and upkeep of the property and facilities including periodic housekeeping/maintenance of office equipment and furniture.
• Stationeries requisition, mailing, business card printing.

Security Management

• Ensure safe custody of keys and maintain key loan records for all offices, ancillary rooms, and laboratories.
• Maintain booking access rights for meeting and discussion rooms in Outlook calendar.
• Provide access cards to new staff.

Office Management

• Reconfigure office space/layout to meet new requirements in the event of staff movement.
• Process new standard furniture, network, telephone line & work requisition requests for faculty/staff.
• Manage distribution list in Outlook, maintain floor plan and Staff Directory Board information at the main lobby.

Inventory Management

• Support the team in sourcing and ad-hoc purchases including procurement of office supplies.
• Maintain proper inventory record to ensure all office supplies are at the appropriate stock level and there are no out-of-stock situations.

Requirements:

• Degree in a related field preferred. Diploma holders with relevant experience in a related field may be considered.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in in facilities management operations or similar.

• Manage and handling of the sites installation, corrective and preventative maintenance of the radio communication network
• Perform testing and commissioning.
• Manage and co-ordinate with the customers, building owner, town councils, HDB, contractors and consultants etc
• Perform standby duties after hours and major events for site problems and customer complaints
• Prepare and handle all technical documents and commercial documents.
• Ensure projects are implemented based on the approved project plan that meets operational needs & schedules.

Requirements

• Tertiary education qualification majoring in Telecommunications, Electronics or related areas
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the LTE mobile network
• Knowledge on 4G radio access technologies, antenna systems , RF and networking
• Well versed with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, acrobat, etc
• Must have class 3 driving licence
• Must be comfortable to work in rooftop, construction sites and tunnels

The Facility Technician is responsible for the execution of routine, non-routine maintenance, installations and servicing work on freezer storage units and facilities equipment. The technician is also responsible for maintaining the general appearance, functionality and operations of our facility.

The technician will also assist in biobanking duties when required, including receiving biological samples and shipments, registering, and storing the samples. The incumbent is accountable for performing all assigned tasks with full attention and accuracy to maintain the integrity of the sample and the storage processes.

This role will require on-call duties as determined by departmental needs, handling biological samples and LN2 tanks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for maintaining the overall condition, appearance of facility and equipment (Laboratory and Office area)

2. Regular maintenance of refrigeration and freezing units (refrigerators, freezers and liquid nitrogen tanks)

3. Installation, calibration, validation, maintenance and monitoring of freezers (refrigerator, freezers, liquid nitrogen tanks and temperature monitoring system)
