We are looking for a/an Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to join our Sector Communication & Engagement team. The candidate will help communicate and drive engagements with our Community Care Partners including but not limited to co-ordinating focus groups and events. The candidate will also be involved in rolling out effective and timely communications through our various digital platforms and organised events.

Reporting to the Team Lead, the candidate will be involved in strategic communications and is required to plan and execute strategies to create awareness of sector-wide developments as well as engage and encourage greater interactions among our sector partners. • Influence partners/stakeholders to come on board DFSG initiative and implement dementia-friendly and community mental health initiatives:

1. Advise on developing an implementation plan with community stakeholders and partners (grassroots, faith-based groups, schools, healthcare providers, corporates, residents and government agencies etc.)
2. Assist to identify needs, build rapport and explore opportunities with strategic partners and sector leaders such as building, banking, transport, to forge collaborations on expand the reach of DFSG national efforts.
3. Promote and connect partners to embark on regional collaborations that advocate and empower partners in better meeting the dementia and mental health needs of clients and caregiversroots, healthcare providers, residents and government agencies etc)

Job Requirements:

• Degree in any discipline in community outreach/ health promotion/ healthcare, preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in community engagement/ healthcare/ mental health/ geriatric areas will be an advantage.
• Good stakeholders/ partners engagement and project management skills
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Competent in MS Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
• Self-driven and passionate in making a difference to Singapore’s landscape on dementia and mental wellness.

• Gather requirements, recommend, plan and manage Learning and Development programmes for Staff, Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and Trainers through regular consultation with leaders and user departments/teams
• Explore and source for suitable Learning and Development programmes that meet learning objectives, build talent competencies and capabilities to support business needs
• Develop, review and/or enhance onboarding, Learning and Development programmes, create curriculum, e-learning contents, case studies and learning resources to support blended learning
• Provide learning reports and data dashboard to support review of learning progression of staff, SGAs or Trainer
• Review feedback and incorporate enhancements to ensure effective of learning programmes and continue to meet learning objectives and needs
• Develop course curriculum, activities, and resources for in house programmes
• Prepare and conduct training and facilitate learning through sharing of experience and examples
• Manage and support training operations for respective programmes
• Support training and coaching of the SGD trainers, organise regular sharing and learning activities
• Establish individual goals in alignment with the programme and/or company goals
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in any field
• Preferable with 2-3 years of working experience in the related field
• Experience and strengths in developing process documentation, learning and development programmes, communication materials, organisation development and people management
• Relevant knowledge of analyzing training needs and implementing performance gap analysis
• Good training and facilitation skills & experience using Adult Learning Theories.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Volunteer Management

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to identify, build and sustain a healthy pool of competent Silver Generation Ambassadors (SGAs) and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the recruitment cycle of SGAs and SGD volunteers
• Monitor the centralised recruitment of volunteers (eg. SGA/volunteers referral, Facebook, QSM etc.) to ensure a healthy ratio of staff to volunteers to seniors in order to achieve SGO’s goals and objectives
• Update and maintain volunteer’s personal information and their volunteering activities to ensure an up-to-date database
• Introduce SGO volunteering program to public and private sectors to encourage volunteerism and also, as a CSR, with the aim of providing more avenues for volunteer recruitment
• Support various SGA rewards and recognition initiatives
• Co-ordinate and extend VM related courses for staff and SGAs

Professional Development

• Engage in continual learning for personal and professional growth and development
• Share good practices and support the training and development for SO staff and SGAs
• Establish regular communications with the SO VM champions on matters related to volunteer management and training

Coordination & Admin

• Consolidate feedback from SOs, SGAs and volunteers to identify and analyse needs in the community
• Manage and control SGAs ID tags assets
• Perform office administration functions

Network Development

• Implement strategies to create new volunteering opportunities through partnership with internal and external organisations.
• Implement loyalty programmes to recognise the good work of the volunteers.
• Implement formal/informal channels for volunteers to provide feedback on their participating volunteering program.

You will manage a grant administered by Sector Funds, and the job scope includes:

• Working with community care partners to identify opportunities, develop strategies and scope proposals on developing/enhancing services and building organisational capabilities, so as to better serve seniors and clients.
• Analysing data to assess the impact of funded projects, identify opportunities to develop resources to support community care partners at scale, and improve grant design and administration.
• Assess funding proposals, and work with community care partners to improve impact of funded projects.
• Develop requirements for, and assist in project managing the development of, a grant management IT system.

• A degree, with disciplines in health or the social sciences preferred.

• Develop, implement, monitor and review enablers that will help build an integrated care ecosystem. These include funding administration, care model development, design and implementation of standardised processes and templates, and the design and monitoring of performance indicators and dashboards.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders including MOH, the Regional Health Systems, Primary Care and Community Care Providers to identify gaps and barriers to the building of an integrated care system
• Identify and systematise enablers and solutions that close gaps, overcome barriers and lead to better health and social outcomes for our clients
• Develop and implement rapid prototyping of solutions and evaluate its effectiveness in mitigating systems barriers to building of an integrated care ecosystem
• Support the development and rollout of IT enablers
• Work with stakeholders on programme review and evaluation
• Synthesize the learnings and experience for improvement in programme design and implementation
• Identify best-practices and implement platforms for cross sharing and learnings between providers
